I ordered an ice cream cake for someone’s birthday, and it looks cute, and tastes good!

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill offers a fun and casual dining experience with a menu full of classic fast-food favorites and delicious treats. Burgers, fries, and chicken items are consistently tasty, and the ice cream and Blizzard treats are always a hit. Friendly staff, quick service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a reliable spot for a satisfying meal or sweet treat any time.

Their ice cream is okay, but if he ordering like the $7 deal you can tell the chicken strips are old. They’re tough like shoe leather. The fries taste different. There’s a reason dairy Queen is offering the deals cheap. The quality of food is absolutely downhill. At the time of the visit it’s like a ghost town. Only two people working and not much going on. The drink dispenser for order in the drain was clogged backed up water leaking onto the floor. The place feels like it’s just not cared for. I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating there.

Older counter staff at my visit genuinely took Interest in completing my order. Kinda expensive but worth the cost. Went way beyond on quantity and quality!!! Outside kinda blah. Slower service only downside..

Went to the drive thru at 6:15 tonight and ordered a butterfinger blizzard. Took 10 minutes to get to the window, which wasn’t too bad, but then waited another 10 after I paid. All this while 5 employees (looked like teenagers) messed around , laughing , then was given a blizzard that had very little butterfinger in it. I left and then went right back as I am tired of being ripped off like this. Showed it to the girl behind the counter and she said it was right, can only put 2 scoops now. I couldn’t hardly even see any candy. It tasted like vanilla ice cream. So I left and threw it away on my way out. Will never go back and will tell everyone I know. So basically paid $5.82 for nothing.

Ordered on line. Was ignored when I went in and told themI had an on line order, by two different people. Finally got the attention of another person who handed me my blizzards that now were melting. I also noticed one of mine was made wrong and they said the manager said they could not fix it. I will never set foot in there again!

Dairy Queen is a wonderful place to take grandkids. One grandchild had a chocolate cone dipped in chocolate and another had a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. We were celebrating, so I had a peanut buster parfait. The ice cream was great and the service was fantastic. And the taste of a peanut buster parfait hasn’t changed in 40 years.

(Update on most recent visit) Haven’t visited here in 7 months after my last interaction and this one wasn’t any better. Tool a while for anything to say hi through the drive thru, waited at least 15 minutes, nobody flipped a single one of my blizzards, and they were already melting when they handed them to me. I don’t think I’d give them another chance.
(Reply to owner: I have reached out twice already and have received no response. My next step it to file a complaint with BBB tomorrow.)
Extremely disappointed by how my young son and I were treated at this location. The manager yelled at my child multiple times (even as I was already addressing the situation), then aggressively threw a scanner behind the counter and refused to help us. My son was visibly shaken, crying, and scared — all he wanted was ice cream and to go home. No child should be treated that way, and no parent should have to comfort their child after something like that. Completely unacceptable behavior and a deeply upsetting experience.

I have visited here 3 times, and all visits were bad in different ways.
Absolutely awful workers, they will just stand in a hudle in the back and talk and not take your order until they decide they should. I was given very old and dry chicken as well as very dark cold sludgy gravy. Honestly was surprised as I have never had bad dairy queen before eating at this one.
They have fake nails on, which I know is against health and food guidelines in restaurants.
Also, we came in to eat and ordered our food at 9 pm. we sat down to eat, and within 10 minutes, we yelled at that the dining area was closed, and we needed to leave immediately. When I asked staff at a different time, they said lobby closes at 10 and online confirming 10 as well. So, really awful experiences each time. I do not recommend and will not spend money there anymore.
