I’m not normally a fan of roast beef but this smelled so good I decided to give it a try. Three of us all had the roast beef and cheese. It was friggin delicious. Anyone who reviewed this place and said they’d stick to Arby’s is missing a few marbles. Support a small business – the woman working said her son runs the place now and they’ve been open since 1968.

Got the hot pastrami, it’s definitely good. I mean, go out of your way to get good. Can understand what ppl say about owner’s attitude (who also sits at a small table that’s “reserved”, apparently for her and not customers). They only take cash, so would have bought more.

Would give it zero stars if I could. $16 for a dry roast beef on a hamburger bun. Buyer beware. Never trust a place that doesn’t post prices on their menu and is out of all other meats and cheeses during lunch on a Saturday afternoon.

This place has amazing food! I grew up with Pappas Beef House whenever my mother would go downtown shopping. This place carries the torch well. I’d recommend it to anybody for some of the best roast beef in existence! By the way, ignore all the negative reviews. I am not sure what these people are complaining about, but it’s really not relevant..

Tried their Reuben sandwich. The person who took my order seemed put out I didn’t order roast beef. The sandwich will be remembered as the worst Reuben of all time. They poured a full can of undrained saurkraut on corned beef. It was more of a soup than a sandwich. I honestly don’t understand how they stay open.

Wasted 20 minutes for some rude blonde to finally stare at us and ask what we wanted only to promptly announce they only had roast beef because “everything was off.” Maybe if she hadn’t spent time rudely ignoring customers while discussing her family genealogy with people who were not even there to get food it would have been worth it. Try posting hours and not ignoring customers next time.

Tried to get service at 2:45 on a Saturday, they don’t close till 3 on Saturdays. Was told they were already closed even though the employee still had the Open signs posted and all the windows to the business open. You’ve permanently lost my business, stick with Arby’s instead.
