Stopped by on a busy Saturday night and quickly learned this place is popular for a reason. The name of the game at Michael’s is good food for great value! We throughly enjoyed the feta olive plate, saganaki, moussaka, hot wings and greek salad. The pictures we took don’t do the food justice, every bite was packed with flavor. We will be back again and highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort food done right!

I keep hearing about Michael’s French Onion Soup and had to try it. I started out however with a cup of the Clam chowder (The French Onion soup takes about 15 minutes to prepare.). It was really good. It was nice and thick and the clam pieces were tender and flavorful. It is served with a couple pieces of toasted bread that were nicely seasoned and went well with the chowder.
The French Onion soup was outstanding. It was nice and dark (the way I like it). It also came with a couple of slices of the toasted bread. The cheese was nice and stringy and the onion flavor was deep and rich. I’ll definitely be back for more!

This place has been around for years. A great neighborhood staple. They have wonderful Greek food and pretty darn good burgers. I opted for the cheddar burger and fries and it was delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy with a big chunk of cheddar on top served with crispy wedge fries. The servers here are fantastic. They are very personable and most of them have worked here for years. It was a little chilly when we went, but they do have a good size patio and a good size bar area if you choose not to eat in the dining room. I would highly recommend trying it out if you have not.

I do not think I’ve ever had the unbelievable combination of great food and service. Prime rib was incredible as were the wings. Perfect timing by the waitress. I can’t remember having a combination of such good food and service.

Unbelievable I cannot be prouder to post this review of this restaurant bar. This cheeseburger was so big it will last me two meals this is probably the best cheeseburger in St Louis and I eat a lot of cheeseburgers I assure you. I am telling you you’ve got to try this the thing is huge it’s $21 but it’s worth every penny the fries are amazing. Absolute 100% home run.

We had an amazing lunch today at Michael’s Bar & Grill on Manchester. We love Greek food, so when we were going through suggestions for lunch today, we saw the reviews of Michael’s and was locked into trying it.
I had the moussaka, and my wife had the trout which was on special today. I’ll just go ahead and say it, I think that’s the best Greek food I’ve had in the US. The moussaka was perfectly seasoned and had just the right balance of bechamel. It was absolutely wonderful. I was allowed to try my wife’s trout, and it was fantastic too! Tasted like it was caught this morning at Montauk!
We sat outside on the patio which isn’t huge, but we got there in time to get a table in the shade and with the help of a cloud or two ended up being very pleasant. Glad we got there when we did around 11:40 or so because once we sat down there was a constant stream of people arriving. We can see why!
Service was great, and the iced tea was delicious. I heard the server rattle off the beers they offer to another table, and it sounds like there’s a good selection plus the full bar.
We’ll be back for sure!!

Three of us got the gyro and my daughter got the Michael burger. The gyro with fries is $12.99 which is a good price.
The waitress said that the feta cheese was optional but free and said the same thing about the American cheese on my daughter’s burger. That was not correct. We got charged about a dollar for each cheese.
And she charged us for four gyros instead of three.
Other than that, it was an enjoyable meal. I would like to give it a 4.5 rating.

A local favorite and it’s easy to see why.
After a copious amount of recommendations I finally made the pilgrimage to this mythical location. I was not disappointed.
The wings are crispy and perfectly cooked. I typically have to ask for “well done” or “extra crispy” to get the texture I enjoy but these bad boys were spot on. The sauce is a traditional Frank’s + butter combo. Nothing out of the ordinary. I’ll say they’re on the very precipice of being slightly too salty, though. Possibly using salted butter which can be a tad overkill at times.

Overall I’m a big fan and I’ll certainly be back.
