Me and some friends were around all from out of town. We were on our way to head back to our respective homes. I got the pancakes, western omelet and the hash browns with coffee. Food was timely prepared and good! My one friend had got an omelet, and the chef felt he burned the omelet so he made my friend another. Very memorable experience and would go back! Lots of menu choices!

Went with friends for breakfast before Ohio State Michigan game. Service was excellent. Our server was from Michigan, so am I. However, we planned on going the basement like we always do. I am 77 years old was barred because I wore a Michigan shirt. I will never return there or the town tavern which has the same owner. My friends and I used to go to the basement and the town tavern monthly for dinner. So next year will return to Michael’s AM but go the noisy oyster for the game.

First visit to Michael’s AM. We had a large weekend brunch party, and the 20-30 min wait they told us when we arrived turned into over an hour and a half wait. We contemplated leaving a couple times because they kept giving us small waiting time windows. That being said, once we got seated, we had a great experience. Our waitress (Stormie) was amazing! She handled our party alone but was patient, attentive, and extremely helpful with providing suggestions. The food was top notch! I highly recommend the shrimp & grits, which we were told is a new addition to the menu. The stuffed French toast was delicious as well. The long wait aside, everything else was 10/10. I will definitely be back!

We started coming here after multiple bad experiences at Valley Cafe, and boy I’m glad we did! The waitstaff here is so much kinder, the food is good, and you have room to move! We really appreciate how nice and hospitable they have been each time we’ve come in.

Food was really good but beware, if you order a burger, fries are an extra 3.25. It not listed on the menu but was on my bill. The omlets were good, someone order a salad and it looked good size. I would recommend this place just be sure to ask when they ask what side if its extra.

I had the crab Benedict and it was literally one of the best things I have ever eaten. Also, I ordered my hash browns well done and my friend her bacon extra crispy and everything came out hot and perfect! Our waitress was awesome as well! This place is about 35 minutes from me and I will be making the trip again!

Not sure where to begin. The stuffed French toasts are TO DIE FOR! The western omelet was amazing. You know how shredded hash browns are always either overcooked and dry or undercooked and taste starchy? Not here they don’t. Even the sausage patties are more satisfying than you’d expect. Excellent food. Great prices. 10/10 will be returning… Tomorrow.

Food is usually 10/10 (I get the strawberry stuffed waffles which are great) and reliable so we go often!! Service is a solid 7/10 but sometimes can be better, atmosphere is meh – decor etc less to be desired, tables sometimes left dirty, I slipped on a potato one time LOL.. the counter seating is cute and diner-vibey!

Was my first time here and judging by the stream of customers it is a gem worth visiting in Merrimen valley. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and food, would recommend. Perfectly poached eggs on the benny yesss.
