I’m not sure if we went on an off day or what was wrong because I can’t believe this place has a nearly five star rating. I ordered the baked potato with brisket and there sure was a lot of it but that’s not really good because the meat was mostly fat and extremely tough and tasteless, I barely ate any of it. Sonny’s has 100x better barbeque and that’s really saying something because Sonny’s is kind of mid.

Complete false advertisement…their website lists 8.99 for a chicken baked potato. The chalkboard in the establishment reads 14.49 for a chicken baked potato. Spent $30 for 2 potatoes. Another google image reads a few dollars less from 2024. I came here expecting the website pricing. I understanding raising prices due to inflation however not updating the information on your website is absolutely false advertisement. Not appealing and not cute. Won’t be back ever again. Peace

Driving down the road and saw smoke pouring out of the BBQ, so we stopped. Rib dinner was excellent. Ribs were lean and flavorful. Beans and slaw were very good. Michael gave my wife a sample of the brisket. She said it was awesome.

Everytime we are in the area of this place we stop by here and eat. The owner is from Dayton TN, he is really nice and every body that works here is super friendly and the food is always great. You get your money’s worth I promise you that. I would highly recommend trying this place if you love BBQ and you are ever in the area. They will not disappoint you with the quality of the food and with the flavor.

Always a great time, Michael makes sure food is always good. They give very generous portions and very fair prices. The beef is so tender and delicious and the ribs fall off the bone. We recently stopped by Michael D’s BBQ, it was an absolute delight. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the ribs and smoked pork had just the right amount of smoke. First impression is the place is warm and welcoming. It’s truly refreshing to see that type of friendship between the house and customer. The menu was on the wall and was pretty straight forward. Paid for the meal and sat with anticipation. When the food came, I was more than impressed. I could see myself at home having something like this and watching a game with family. This is a truly special place!

I was just passing by I saw the smoker bowl and smoke. I said let me try this place. Walked in to get a barbecue sandwich. Oh my goodness that is the best barbecue sandwich I think I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of barbecue. I will be back for a slab of ribs. I highly recommend you stop browse the store get you a bite to eat you won’t regret it.

OMG! We just came into town for two days and I was looking for a DG! This place popped up and we love a good barbecue so we were like ” let’s check it out! ” OMG it is marvelous! From the wonderful staff to the delicious meal this is a place you have to check out. Even the decor is spot on. We had pulled pork and brisket, God cooked to perfection!! Also tried a couple of side dishes the coleslaw and baked beans ( wonderful gal who served us suggested them) Perfect!!! A must try. The barbecue sauce is homemade, two different. They’re both top notch. And the price for everything was great! We will definitely stop on our way next time. The only disappointing thing is that we were so stuffed we got home and forgot we didn’t grab any blackberry cobbler! 🙁
