Loved Mian Sichuan. It tasted great and ever authentic.
We ordered the two popular dishes – Chengdu Zajiang Noodles and Spicy Braised Noodle Soup.
Chengdu Zajiang had that fiery sichuan taste. I got the medium spicy, and it was very flavorful. The minced pork and sauce coats the noodles evenly, so it won’t leave you with any dry noodle. The egg was a nice add on top.
Spicy braised beef noodle was great. Broth was delicious and the meat is very tender. It was a great dish that will satisfy your craving.
We also got the pan fried dumplings. It comes out fresh from being hand made. It is molten hot, so be careful with biting into it.

One of the well-known Sichuan-style dumpling spots in the Milpitas area. I stopped by for lunch today and thankfully we were seated right away, although a waiting line started forming shortly after we arrived, which shows how popular the place is. I believe it may have had a Michelin recognition around 2021, though I’m not entirely sure of its current status.
The interior looks sleek and modern, as expected for a place with that reputation, though the washrooms were not quite at the level I would expect from a Michelin-recognized restaurant. The restaurant was very busy, and while the servers were friendly, service felt a bit slow at times. Ordering is done through a QR code, but unfortunately the code wasn’t working properly, which made the overall experience feel more casual and slightly disorganized.
That said, the food completely made up for it. We ordered two types of dumplings, and I chose the spicy beef noodle soup while my friend ordered something similar. The portions were generous, more than enough for one person. The soup was deeply savory with customizable spice levels, the beef was tender, and the egg noodles were perfectly cooked. It was a comforting and satisfying meal. The house-made chili oil was a standout addition, adding a wonderful layer of heat and flavor.
I didn’t get to try many dumplings this time, but I would definitely come back — especially to explore more of their dumpling selection.

Good noodles. Both soup and dry noodles are worth to try. You can get higher spicy levels if you like spicy! Overall pretty good. We will come back.

Have been a frequent customer for the Santa Clara and Cupertino store. This one is pretty impressive since it comes with fried and steamed buns. They are very fresh and delicious. The noodles are always good and price is awesome.

Ziwei Xiaomian is one of the best noodle places I’ve tried. The noodles have great texture and the broth is rich and full of flavor. Every dish tastes fresh and authentic. The service is excellent — the staff are friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. This is definitely a place I will visit again. Highly recommended!

The XLB and Napa dumplings are absolutely amazing. The wrappers are incredibly thin, with a rich, juicy soup inside. Everything is freshly made from scratch in the kitchen, with no MSG taste at all. Hands down the best noodle and dumpling spot in the area.

I found out about Mian after the original restaurant before shut down and wanted to give it a try. The braised beef noodles are rich and flavorful with great texture to the noodles, and the spicy wontons were a perfect complement with the chili oil.
Waiters were all friendly and attentive, and the food came quickly and was piping hot.
I will definitely be back for more to try other things on the menu as well!
