The Teriyaki sauce is very good. The one container isn’t enough for the amount of chicken and rice, which seemed reasonable for the price. The chicken wasn’t fatty and was cooked well. March, 2025 update: the chicken was disappointingly fatty, which made it difficult to eat.
Prior to Covid dining in restaurant meant eating with silverware on a dish and each table had a free Teriyaki sauce. Now everyone gets a plastic container with plastic utensils – take away or dine in – and extra sauce is $0.25 either way.
There is a television which recently has always been tuned to Fox News which may not appeal to at least half the clientele.
I would recommend only for take out as the dine in experience is sad currently.
Walked in and the lady working was literally eating at a table 6 feet from the register. As I’m ordering, she’s picking food out of her teeth — right in front of me. That should’ve been my sign to leave.
I stayed and ordered anyway (my mistake). Took 15 minutes to get my food. Asked for soy sauce — she handed me 1 packet. Asked again, she gave me 1 more. I didn’t even bother asking a third time.
Opened my food and saw a HALF-FILLED sauce container with teriyaki smeared all over the side — and guess what? They charge $0.25 extra for those. You’re telling me I just spent $22 and I have to beg for soy sauce and teriyaki??
Absolute cheapskate vibes.
• $2.50 for a 12oz can
• $0.40 cost coke
• But no sauce unless you pry it out of them.
And then they flip the screen for a tip?
LOL. Not happening.
If you’re stingy with basics like sauce, don’t expect generosity in return. Terrible experience from start to finish.
The chicken was moist and delicious. It was a fairly large portion too.
I would come here again if on the area. There was a steady stream of customers in the time we were there and so others must feel the same!
-Never a bad meal.
Side note: we drive down from Vancouver for their teriyaki ngl
The beef isn’t cheap and flimsy but more of a steak texture and thickness. Their chicken is breast meat but is just as tender as thigh meat.
In terms of flavor, it is complex, instead of simply being sweet and “soy saucy”. The chicken has a subtle spicy kick to it which I think is brilliant. The beef is simply an umami bomb!
They’re super generals with their portion. You know it’s a good business when they don’t skimp on meat.
10/10
I had their asparagus chicken and they flavor was just on point.
Pay them a visit if you’re in the area or if you’re tired of the same spots in Seattle.
Great food and great service.
