Food is really good, packed with flavor. Plenty of choices. I’ve tried multiple dishes, my favorite has been the shrimp cocktail. It was delicious. Also, if you have room for dessert I recommend you try their fried banana. Another must try is the Cantarito, you won’t regret it. I love that it is in my home town literally less than 5 minutes from my house.

We have been going to Mi Vallarta since they opened. We truly love the whole family as they treat us so well. The Margarita’s are delicous. The Modelos are ice cold.
We have tried everything from the fish tacos to the Mi Vallarta fajitas, all were delicous! Our favorite for the last couple of months has been the chicken and shrimp fajitas for two, comes out on a sizzling platter and is fantastic! With rice and beans is a VERY full meal. Come in and try it!

Clean. Courteous. Kind. Food is great and the menu is very impressive. Who knew a teeny tiny town could keep this such a secret. Worth the drive. We’ll go back soon!

I was actually really looking forward to this restaurant, since there are not very many Mexican restaurants in the area. We ordered online. the online menu didn’t state that chile rellenos has a red sauce on it. I was looking forward to the chile rellenos since I haven’t had any in a while. The sauce that was on the chile rellenos tasted like canned enchilada sauce. It just wasn’t palatable. I grew up in a very heavily dominant Hispanic area, with a variety of foods. Unfortunately this didn’t hit for me. My partner ordered nachos, and said they were ok but it left him wanting more (like a salsa). We were both pretty surprised to find out that none of our food came with any salsa. A salsa verde and salsa rojo go with everything. We had also ordered sopas. They were so soggy. I ordered a large horchata to share with my kids, and it left a powdery taste in our mouths. My youngest said it made his mouth “dry”. I’m sad that no limes or salsa were given for any of the meals. The rice and beans were very underwhelming. Both were missing that authentic onion and garlic flavor. The rice was under seasoned. I truly don’t believe it was salted enough; the rice tasted like water with a tiny hint of tomato.

This place is great!!! I was super impressed with the homemade FRESH Guac!!! It’s about TIME a Mexican restaurant around here has fresh guac.
Got the vegetarian quesadilla and the vegetables inside were fresh. Sauteed perfectly. I’m impressed. Staff were very friendly.

This hidden gem is a great place to eat. I got spicy steak tacos loaded with flavor with fresh, delicious rice and beans. My partner got a giant burrito stuffed with steak and fresh veggies and he loved it. Will definitely be back.

The menu is gigantic. If you like any kind of Mexican food, they have something for you. Staff is so kind, and it makes you feel right at home, even though I came in rather late, after work. The food is incredible. I had the Durango meal, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Everything tastes fresh and is prepared with great care.

Ordered takeout. It was delicious. Had the fajitas and some chips and salsa. They gave me two pie sized foil pans full of food. One was the steak, chicken, peppers, etc…all the grill stuff. And then the other had refried beans, lettuce, rice and all the other goodies. For $16 it was a ton of food. I’ll definitely go here again.
