I believe this restaurant is the best food in Lawrence. The staff and food are wonderful. I am surprised that it is not always super busy when we go in. It has not been busy any time we visited. I assume that not many people have experienced this great restaurant and people that work here. Please come show support for this place. They work hard to make it an inviting and inclusive experience. I can’t say enough good things about our local business, great food and drinks that wont break the budget …Gracias Mi Tenampa!

Typical Mexican food with fantastic service. I’ve been here a few times the food is what you would expect and the service is great. Last time I went I arrived after some friends who had already ordered. They took my order right away and got it rushed out so I wasn’t eating alone. It can be a little loud in the center of the restaurant so if you go try to sit on the perimeter but other than that I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this place.

Went there today to have lunch, and when my date opened up his menu, a roach crawled out! We immediately jumped up from the table. We had only been there about five minutes and we had ordered chips and salsa and some queso.
I walked over to the waitress and whispered to her what had happened and that we would no longer be eating there. She seemed unbothered and said OK that’s fine but you need to pay for the queso that you ordered.
There were other people in the restaurant, there was actually a party of tea, and that had just walked in. We did not make a scene, but There were no apologies, and the fact that she was trying to make us pay for a bowl of queso that we didn’t even get to eat due to the Roach that lived there in the establishment was crazy.
I don’t like to say anything negative without saying something positive, the ambience was really nice!

The “salsa” is more like taco sauce. They gave me just a small amount of chips, and they weren’t warm. (the chips you see in the picture is all I got) The unsweet tea was good.
I ordered the lunch tacos with ground beef ($8.99), they were ok, but not great.
First time there, doubt I’ll go back, I was out in the area checking out other shopping.

You wouldn’t know it from the outside but this place has great decor. Service was excellent and the food was great too. I kept feeling like the bill was going to come and my wallet would be hurting but they have very reasonable prices for how nice everything was.
