Yesterday, I came here and ordered pupusas. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. What I enjoyed the most was the chicken soup, it was a generous portion and served hot, which is something necessary in the winter. I didn’t take any pictures of myself because I didn’t feel pretty enough for a selfie. I went with a friend since I didn’t have the courage to ask any of my classmates.
After looking at the menu, I feel motivated to go back. There’s an appetizer called nuégados de yuca, made from cassava, which I discovered tastes even better the next morning after being refrigerated.
It’s a nice family place,

Sometimes the things you do and say as an owner end up reflecting poorly upon your business. Sometimes those actions aren’t representative of the food service or atmosphere of the place but rather a question of whether or not you yourself are deserving of being supported and rated well. Unfortunately you never quite know when a bad personal interaction will end up being a bit more than what you expected.

Susan was so helpful and patient to teach us how to eat the dishes with great recommendations. Very authentic, family run business. Everything homemade, even the cheese. Atmosphere very basic but the food is not.

We got pupusas to go and they were so good! My dad is from El Salvador and I grew up in Houston and these taste just like the ones I grew up eating. These are authentic and so delicious. Ignore the people complaining about prices. These are very filling and two of us were happily full for under $20. The people were also very nice. If you’ve never tried pupusas, definitely try them here you’ll love them!

This is our favorite place on Green Bay. We always love how inviting the family is that runs the restaurant and they always remember us. We love the food and the fact that everything is made fresh and by hand. The inside is a little small but never had a problem eating in. I recommend any of the papusas or the fried chicken plate. The papas locos are a family favorite. If you don’t know what a papusa is, it’s like a handmade thick tortilla stuffed with cheese and fillings and cooked in a frying pan. Give it a try you will not regret

This is a hidden gem. The food is very good, staff is friendly, and the whole place is adorable. 10/10 would go back again. Not only that, but the prices are unheard of these days – very affordable. You won’t regret trying this place.
