Expensive for breakfast… Not sure what happened here, but $82 dollars including tip for breakfast for 3 people is pretty darn high. We ordered 2 pancake specials, and 1 regular special. 2 orange juices and a mango juice. The food was so, so… I ordered 2 eggs over easy and I got the smallest eggs ever, with the edges overcooked.. so barely any egg white. The side of tater tots I got were pretty bad as they didn’t cook them through. The center was cold and frozen still. They actually took the tater tots back and I don’t know if they threw them back in the fridge or what, but what I got back was still not good. Tater tots are crispy outside with center cooked.. Not good. The Grits were pretty good though. My kids had the pancakes which they liked along with eggs, sausage and toast.. The place is really small. A true hole in the wall. Ohh.. We got there at 11:05 and once I got the bill I realized they charge 1.99$ for after 11am breakfast. They also charge for using credit card… Unfortunately because of the bad tater tots. The small eggs. The extra charges and the maybe other hidden fees in my bill I won’t be coming back… There menu is typical latin food. Sounds good, but I wasn’t impressed… Give them a try as they are a local restaurant, maybe you’ll have a better experience with the food and pricing.

Nice lil hole in the wall spot. Came in for the bistec a caballo con juevo frito and its was okay. Came with the classic tostada and cafe, bistec, 2 juevos, and hashbrowns. The steak was over cooked and so were the eggs. Taste was alright. Great service though and the place seemed clean with people coming in to keep the food moving.

Delightful hole in the wall with absolutely delicious food and warm, prompt service. The place is sparkling clean. Food presentation is beautiful. And the black beans might be the best Cuban black beans I have ever had, which might be fighting words who knows.

I ordered catering for my son’s birthday party. We had ropa vieja, rice and beans, maduros and salad. The food was great, and portions were very large with fair prices. Several guests gave good reviews and asked where the food came from! We’re going to have leftovers forever
The staff was very attentive, and the waitress who took my order was attentive and patient with my broken Spanish. The back of the house staff brought all the food to my car and it was well packed. I’ll definitely be ordering again in the future.

hello i went here yesterday and this place was honestly amazing, the place was super clean and the food was AMAZING!!!! i had the fried fish with mashed potatoes and the fish was super fresh and cooked to perfection, the mash was also outstanding !!!!the new owners are one of the nicest people i have met and make you feel at home . if you see bad reviews on this place do not listen to them this place is nothing like the one star reviews they have put it’s actually the opposite !. overall the food was amazing the management was outstanding and everything was clean and tidy . HIGHLY RECOMMEND

OMG this place should be called Mi Secreto-cito! Friendly and helpful staff. The chef takes pride and it shows. The food was traditional and seasoned to perfection. Looking forward to visiting again.
