I ordered Combination #8, which contained a chicken tamale and ground beef enchilada. (Be sure to specify the type meat you want. You may have choices.) I also ordered a side of lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. Plus, I took sour cream and salsa from my husband’s plate.

Go there often. Very friendly staff and food is always good and very reasonably priced. UPDATE: Took family back 3 days ago. Service was terrible. Lots of workers standing near kitchen on phones as we needed water and additional salsa. Although I didn’t check prices, appears they’ve increased noticeably.

We ate there today after visiting The Lodge with my elderly mother-in-law. Good choice. The salsa was some of the best I’ve had – the spices (cumin, garlic, cilantro) and the heat was dialed in perfectly. The guacamole was excellent. The chips were flavorful, crisp, and warm. The service and atmosphere were great. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Carnitas lunch, and it was some of the best carnitas I’ve had anywhere. The Mexican rice was flavorful, and the side salad was wonderfully dressed with a lime vinaigrette. I highly recommend Mi Rancho Mexican, and I plan to eat there whenever I’m in Crozet.

I really like Mi Rancho, I’ve been going here since it opened, however, over the last few years the portions have shrunk significantly while the prices have gone up. I understand the rise in prices with inflation but the smaller portions are dissatisfactory. I no longer feel full leaving after eating one entre as I used to. Sad to see this change
