I decided to give our neighborhood restaurant the spotlight and stars it deserves. It is always super clean in the restaurant. I didn’t know we had a full service bar great addition to the restaurant. The music of course was amazing I danced the entire time. I wanted chicken and ended up getting beef and I must be honest it was moist tasty and hot! I would like to see a salsa not tomato based since I am allergic. The $2.99 margaritas totally sold me and to top it I get a flavor for $1 more. The customer service was beyond great the attentiveness and conversation with Diana was nothing shy of fabulous. Then I learned she was doing two persons job. Her commitment and satisfaction to make sure customers have a great experience deserves to be rewarded. Come one come all they are opened and surviving quality food and customer experience. I know it’s a little drive out but it’s definitely worth the drive.

2.1 – called 1st to make sure Juana was working this time we tried the fried ice cream & the cup is huge!
1.23 – came back & we got Juana again service was excellent & the molcajete with carne asada fries was REAL good!

I this was our 1st time coming. The 1 in the RGV was not like this though. I don’t how your going price this a little high, but serve this amount of fries. Either I’m blind or this is the new serving. Everything else was good though.

Diana took our order on the phone and her service was impeccable! She was patient, kind, helpful and just a breath of fresh air! When I picked up our food it was hot and ready and Diana was at the drive thru window just as pleasant as she was on the phone! We usually drive further into Killeen for Tex Mex but after discovering Mi Ranchito…we won’t go back! (Oh yeah! The food was awesome too!)

I can’t really judge the service or atmosphere since i ordered on door dash, but the food is just disgusting, all together i had some of the tacos taste horrible, now currently dealing with a stomach ache and there rice was even worse not sure if it went at a bad time but it was horrible

This place is the nicest Mexican restaurant I have seen in the area. The decorations are amazing. They have many options to choose from on their menu. I like their birria tacos, their carne asada fries are crazy good. Their breakfast menu is also very good. They have 16oz frozen margaritas special 7 days a week for $2.99. Btw, their drive-thru is open Mon-Sat as of 6am and 7am on Sundays. If you ask for Diana, you will receive costumer service that is second to none.

I stopped in for breakfast one morning to give it a try, and I wasn’t that impressed with the breakfast plate. The breakfast tacos I had were great, though! Zero compliants on that end. My service was ok, I did have to find my waitress for utensils. I saw some wall murals that I had not seen when I first visited that were really nice.
I initially went through the drive-thru but decided to go inside instead. The menu is massive!I walked in, and I was greeted immediately by the staff and directed to the to go area so I could order. After looking through the menu, I decided to go with a taco plate with beef, beans, and rice. I ordered the birria tacos for my girlfriend and the cheese quesadilla for my son. My plate was on point! I wish we’d dined in because my tacos were hard shells, and the ride home made the shells soft. They were crunchy at the top, though. The beans and rice had amazing flavors. They were probably the best I’ve had in the Killeen area. My son ate all of his cheese quesadilla, so it was obviously good to him. The birria tacos, however, were pretty sad. The meat was flavorless, and the tacos themselves just didn’t taste like any birria tacos we’d had before. The consomé was basically a cup of oil and grease. They didn’t even get finished. I’d dine in next time if I were to go back. I wouldn’t mind trying a burrito or the tacos again. The decor is like nothing I’ve seen before. I love the added detail, especially the chairs.

It’s absolutely gorgeous inside, they have live mariachi bands, and feels like a good authentic Mexican restaurant….however the service and the food sucked. Growing up in a heavily populated Hispanic town & often visiting Mexico I didn’t understand how the Queso flameado was a hot plate of chorizo with Queso lightly drizzled on top…where is the QUESO in the Queso dish?! I also ordered green chicken enchiladas and the dish was super dry. I asked for more verde sauce to which they brought me a spicy light green hot sauce. After pushing my plate aside and about 3 waitresses passing by without asking how the meal was (about a 10-15 min time period) we asked for the check. They didn’t even bat an eye that I didn’t eat my meal, maybe this happens a lot. Idk how this place has outstanding reviews or maybe I ordered the two things on the menu that lack sauce or in their words “gravy” & queso.

Our experience wasn’t as good as we thought it would be, we dined in for dinner on a Saturday around 8pm. We were told to be seated wherever we’d like, our waitress seemed very rushed & her vibes kind of gave off like she had something going personally the other young lady stayed in the back most of the time. Alcoholic drinks were good, my birria tacos were good but the rice & beans were cold, my husband’s hard shell tacos arrived with all toppings when we asked for just lettuce, so when they brought it back out the ground beef looked pink like it wasn’t fully cooked so he decided not to eat anything , my sons chicken & fries were decent. I would maybe give this restaurant another try if the food & customer service is better, it’s such a clean & beautiful restaurant from the inside so it kind of sucked we got the experience we did
