The food was amazing! We had shrimp tacos and the combination plate with enchilada and chili relleno. Chips and salsa were delicious as well

Local restaurant charm set inside what looks to be an original building dating back to the heyday of steam trains.
There is plenty of parking outside in the street. Staff was friendly and helpful in getting orders and drinks.
The food was excellent and well seasoned. You know you will get good food when the salsa and bean dip are good, along with having warm chips.
The kids’ meal portions were the right size for the tikes, along with the unique treat of cotton candy as desert.
Great place to stop on you travels across HWY 80 for lunch or dinner.

This restaurant has some really amazing food! The atmosphere is perfect. The location is great. Everything, except the service, was phenomenal. There was a language barrier between us and the waiter.
Our drinks were empty when they brought our food. We sat around without drinks throughout the rest of our meal without seeing the waiter again. The restaurant was very busy at the time.
Maybe just a bad day. I’ll definitely be back again because the food was so delish. Just hope to get better service next time

Cute decor, friendly service, good food. We both had Enchiladas Hidalgo. They were very good.
Just note that you can get the sauza colorado on the side instead of inside the enchiladas. Good salsa and chips!

We had such a great experience here while passing through town. The asada tacos were fantastic and we loved the beans and salsa served with chips. The atmosphere was bright and fun and the paintings were really beautiful. Great bar, excellent food, we hope to visit again.

This is a great place for authentic mexican food. Nice variety. The place is decorated in the bright reds, orange and blues. Each booth/ chair has a different design. Music not to loud, can easily have a conversation. This is my go to hands down for mexican dishes

Absolutely a must try when in Rock Springs. I’m sure this is a local favorite, where as it would be one of mine!
Traveled many hours to have eaten here and in the future I certainly will do it again. I was blown away by the quality of food! Great job and 5 ⭐️stars all the way around!

I eat Mexican food in my travels all the time. This time it was exceptional and I found a new dish – Molcajete, which blew my mind. You should seek this place out just to get it. Chicken, steak, chorizo, cheese, chili relleno, and bacon wrapped shrimp in a bowl of chipotle with tortillas, rice, and beans? Yes please, it was unbelievable! And went here just by seeing a picture of that dish on maps, and boy it paid off! Will eat here again (and again!)

Mi Ranchito in Rock Springs is a gem! The friendly service made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The ceviche tostadas were the highlight of our meal—easily the best in town. The environment was warm and inviting, complemented by great music that added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience!

Guacamole was Not fresh, we decided Not to eat it. Very dark older Guacamole was stirred in with fresh, see photo.
Dip that comes to table prior to food is delicious: warm bean ans salsa – perfect!
Meals were average, although too much lime juice in Chile Verde burro.
