Nice family type atmosphere-kid friendly.
Generous portions of traditional fare.
No complaints, everyone in our group was very happy with their meals.
I’d like to go back when we have the chance to dine al fresco-the night we went it was too cold.
Reservations on busy nights is recommended.
I my review was helpful, please consider giving it a thumbs up.
Thank you and happy dining.
Cheers.

Have been here many times and really enjoyed the food and ambiance. Went here the other day and was very disappointed. The chips and salsa were different the last 3 times my wife were there. My wife had the tortilla soup which was always very good but it tasted different. When our dinner came the tortillas were cold and soggy and my wife’s enchiladas were tasted it was cold. Almost like they were cooked and were brought out when our appetizers were finished. Told the server and she said sorry and brought the check.

I’d recommend Mi Ranchito to anybody. I’ve been a regular there for the last 6 months. The food is delicious, the prices are fair, and the staff is courteous. I’ve sampled a pretty big chunk of the menu, and it’s all good.

It has changed over the years and sadly then the place has gone downhill. When the manager tried to overcharge us and steal our deposit. The food quality don’t match the price, so save your money and go to any other place in Port Washington.

Very disappointed. Arrived with 6 other people, one of which is in a wheelchair. So him and another person went around back to get into the restaurant using the handicapped ramp. One of the workers also went out back to assist. The ramp was covered in garbage so the worker was asked to clear the path so the wheelchair could get through. The worker then asked if our friend could get out of the wheelchair so he could get through, so he didn’t have to clear away the garbage, when we said no he huffed and puffed as if it was the most ridiculous request to clear away garbage that shouldn’t even be there in the first place. That is absolutely ridiculous. How dare you ask that?? The path should be cleared so the restaurant could be easily handicapped accessible. In the back of the restaurant there are also handicapped spots, the owner of the restaurant had parked his Range Rover sideways through all the handicapped spots. The restaurant was not even busy, there was only one group of 5 people sitting inside at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Was excited to try their food, now would never even think of going back…. Very disappointing.

My husband and I have been visiting Mi Ranchito for many years now. The staff is friendly and the food excellent . Prices have gone up over the years but it’s not overly expensive. Warm friendly atmosphere and lively music. Very enjoyable.

Well I give it a 2 because of the margaritas and service are okay. As for the food? No ! This part of the place says they won’t be around for too much longer. Cheap in every way. Imagine am enchilada dish without cheese and filled with scimpy pieces of low quality meat?
And the rest of the dishes with low quality…. Even the desert option was only 2 choices! Churros or icecream. Well I can’t believe people give this place 4 because it is not!!! Let’s see what happens next when the other Mexican restaurant opens up?

I have never met a local business owner with a worse attitude towards his clients, I don’t know how he’s survived. Mojito, mole mole and Mi Ranchito are sliding in service, restaurant management and quality. The owner and manager doesn’t care about loyal(used to be) customers when you bring it up to him. Unfortunate.

Okay so my mom planned a small brunch party with my family. First they told us kids meal was gonna be 15. Okay fine. They told us kids meal comes with churros and drinks. My mom gave them 300 dollars for deposit, they gave her a receipt, thank god she saved it. For adults they told us 30 dollars with drinks(not alcohol). Everyone ordered the meal and my aunt wanted her steak cooked medium and they told her every steak is cooked the same, which is dumb, never heard of that. I got steak “Salvador” that’s only 16 dollars so I don’t know why they charged my mom 30 dollars per plate. The amount of food they give you, not worth 30 dollars especially for Spanish food. My little cousin ate everything. She’s 10. Every adult left hungry. We were paying, n they told my mom she only gave them 200 deposit and my mom argued with them saying no she gave them 300. Do they like not keep receipt ?! Thank gd my mom had her receipt to prove she paid 300. They never gave the kids churros! N also they wanted to charge us 20 per kid when they told us 15…. this whole thing was a mess. Guys don’t even waste your time and money, you can go to other Spanish places which they give so much more food you can even take to go.
