This family owned Mexican place in downtown Lincoln offers a welcoming local feel. The space may be modest yet the food delivers big flavor plus consistent quality. Service feels friendly plus attentive from start to finish. The salsa selection taco plate special attention with the spicy option standing out as my top pick. Menu choices offer plenty of variety at reasonable prices. Anyone craving Mexican food in Lincoln should absolutely stop by this spot.

Old school is the best way to describe it. The food was excellent. I’ve been visiting this restaurant for 20 years whenever I come to Lincoln.
Reasonable prices and you get a lot of food

This is a solid, family owned Mexican spot in downtown Lincoln. While it’s a bit small and unassuming, the food is excellent and the service is great! Definitely give the different salsas a try, my personal favorite is the spicy salsa. They have a good variety of options on the menu, and nothing is too expensive. If you’re looking for Mexican in Lincoln, give these guys a shot!

I went for the Day of the Dead festival, and this place happened to be not so far from the festival. I had the chicken fajitas. I enjoyed every bite of it! If I happen to be in the area I will definitely come back again!

I’m going to start with the good points, the tacos are good and the meat tasted good, I tried the flautas which came with rice and beans and some veggies, well the rice had no flavor whatsoever, hard like it’s been cooking all day or over the microwave or something and the beans was like if they were from a can or something, with this I don’t say is bad, I just personally didn’t like it

Carne asada was tough and dry. Chicken was tender, but lacked flavor. Beans and rice lacked flavor. Service was friendly, but not attentive. I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews.

Had a hankering for fish tacos. This is a quaint local place with a nice open kitchen and a clean dining room. The food was fantastic and totally took care of the craving. We especially like the real avacado instead of just some avocado crema.

Don’t let the run down condition of this place detour you. We coose to eat in tand had a great meal. The food is authentic and nice portions. I had a carnitas taco and chili relleno plate and my husband had a taco salad with carne asada. This is authentic mexican food not chain restaurant and we were more than satisfied. Business was pretty steady for takeout. Service was good and prices are reasonable. We will be back to try the burritos.

Amazing salsa. Amazing tacos. Amazing burritos. You know you’re in for a treat when grandpa is working the grill and grandma is working the register and wooing the customers!

This happened a few months a go but i still think a review is deserved. I walked in with my daughter right at closing due to hours not being updated. I didnt want to be THAT person so I was about to leave, the owner or manager…? Was SO nice he insisted that we dine in and didn’t rush us at all. Also the food was fresh and delicious and I love how I can see exactly how it’s prepared. I will add this place into our regular Mexican food rotation now.
