The food was delicious. The rice and beans were insane. I could honestly drink the beans like soup. That’s how good they were. The sweet plantains and chicharron as well. Delicious. I will definitely be coming back, but I will likely order instead of dine in. The restaurant itself while pretty and cute, it’s on the smaller side for sure. The service was excellent, the food just took a little bit longer to come out. Everything else was amazing though, great restaurant and great atmosphere.

I stopped by Mi Pueblito Paisa for breakfast and ordered the arepa con huevos pericos, steak, and hogao along with a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious. The arepa was fresh off the griddle, the huevos pericos were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the steak was tender and well seasoned. The hogao brought everything together with that classic Colombian sabor. The hot chocolate was rich and comforting, just like back home.
The service was okay, not especially friendly but not rude either. The restaurant itself is tiny inside, so eating outside is a better option if you want more space, though it can get pretty hot out there. Getting to the restaurant is a bit tricky right now since one of the streets that leads directly to it is closed, so you have to take a detour to get around.
Overall it was a little pricey but the food makes it worth the visit, especially if you’re craving a true Colombian breakfast.

I had the Cazuela de Mariscos (Seafood stew) with the coconut rice and sides. The stew had great flavor, the base of the stew reminded me of a clam chowder base, so it was different but good. The rice was something new to try and I enjoyed it. It was not overly sweet or coconutty. The plaintains were nice and crunchy. The service was great and the fresh juices were also delicious. The only slight negative is that the inside seating is small. Overall, great food and service! Will definitely recommend.

Great food, clean and Laura was 10/10 extremely attentive, her knowledge about the menu and everything she did regardless of how busy they were, she always had a smile on her face and was willing to take care of every table with care and patient.
Highly recommend this place.

I am a huge fan of this spot! I personally thought all the staff were so kind, outgoing, and friendly. I also thought the food came out quickly. I did not have a long drawn out wait to get seated either.

The Bandeja Paisa is to die for. The grounded meat is the best, all the components are so well made, seasoning is perfect, the beans are so flavorful and tender and the pork rinds are perfectly cooked, so the skin is crispy and the meat is juicy and tender. Our servers Jose and David are the best and we’re so attentive and nice.

We ordered sancocho, arepas, plantains, fresh mango, soursop, and lemonade all from real fruit. Everything was SUPER authentic and DELICIOUS!!! the restaurant is pretty small and kind of cafeteria style, and cold so that was the only downside.

This is a great slice of Colombia for us here in Fort Myers. The atmosphere is nice. There is outdoor seating. The food was great and service was top notch. The waitresses are very attentive even though it gets busy. Its the little things that help a restaurant in the long run and this place has it.
