We normally like Mi Pueblito, but after today we will not be going back. They were very much more concerned with their to go orders than the people actually sitting in the restaurant. Other than to take our order and bring us food, the girl came to the table one time. We ordered cheese dip, which we never got and they still tried to charge for, mixed baked potato and Pollo Asado.
My husband said his baked potato was awful and it wasn’t even a baked potato, it was boiled. My pollo asado was so burnt on the bottom. I can normally handle some color, but it was black all on the bottom. We will not be going back. The staff was rude when I told her about the food. They did end up taking the pollo asado and the cheese dip off the ticket, but honestly we should have just left.
They also took forever to bring out the food. We probably waited 30 minutes but most likely more. My husband got his food and they didn’t bring mine. I started a timer and it took almost 15 minutes before mine came out later. They need to learn to take better care of their customers, not just sit at the bar scrolling on tiktok the whole time. I was watching her the whole time sit there and scroll. Her volume was so loud I could hear it at our table.

When we’re in Newport, we try to swing by here and this particular day, I remembered to snap some pictures . Restaurant is located in an older shopping center. Plenty of parking available. Food is always delicious. Service is always amazing. I typically order vegetarian at Mexican restaurants (*My weird preference, I know *) and the best part: They will modify anything you want order wise. Their rice and beans are some of my favorites. The cheese enchiladas with red sauce….YUM! They also offer daily adult beverage specials. Their aqua fresca is to die for. Overall, good food, great service all for a good price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the second time I’ve been here. My first experience was wonderful. The second time I came here with my friend, we had a waiter. I gave him a compliment in Spanish about the food he brought because he seemed confused about my order when I had a question. He became offended that gave him a compliment about the food in Spanish.
I assumed he was upset that I spoke Spanish and I didn’t look like your typical “Latina”. He continued to use derogatory terms about me in Spanish to the kitchen staff. He even came back to my table and told me in Spanish to not speak the language. I was amazed at how rude he was because both of my parents are Hispanic from South America! There are other Hispanics other than the ones from Central America that look completely different! I reassured him at checkout that I understood Spanish and he was very disrespectful. I will not be returning here.

Zero for ambiance, but food is great and and service is adequate. Only margaritas are on the rocks, but they load ‘em up with tequila, so they earn 4 stars. Good dessert too.

Two favorite things about this place in Newport, AR are 1) the tasty chips (better than most Mexican restaurants) super thin & crispy &
2) the very cool decor inside the restaurant
Just love the Mexican vibe, the colors, the build out. I enjoy the effort when restaurants make the effort and #3)!! The Delicioso margaritas with Tajin on the rim! Sweet, spicy & super delicious!

Not to bad. I ordered the 4 tacos (mi ranchito tacos). Not the best I’ve tasted but good price. The atmosphere was good. Met some nice country folks here. Recommend if your in town for awhile and want something different.

Great food and service in a small town. The restaurant was clean as well. We were just passing through and wanted Mexican so we stopped here randomly to eat. It did not disappoint and was only about $10 per person, lunch and drinks (tea). Great job!
