Long-running, family-owned eatery serving traditional Mexican fare in a casual setting.

My dining experience began on a positive note. I was greeted and seated immediately, and my server, Tammie, quickly arrived to take my order for the Machaca beef chimichanga.
When the food arrived, the portion was generous, and the overall dish was delicious. The salsa was particularly noteworthy—tasty with the right amount of heat. My only minor constructive feedback concerned the chimichanga: I was slightly disappointed that the tortilla was not crispy, as a true chimichanga shell should be.
Tammie immediately offered to have a new one made. I sincerely appreciated her proactive response, but I declined, assuring her I was simply providing quality feedback for the kitchen. She handled the situation with professionalism, friendliness, and an apology.
Overall, the quality of the food was great. I would absolutely return and order the chimichanga again; next time, I’ll simply request that it be cooked a bit longer to achieve the desired crispness.

Mi Patio Mexican Food – 4 Stars
Mi Patio is a cozy, family-friendly spot that offers a casual dining experience with generous portions. We ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, as well as a combo plate featuring a burrito, taco, and rice and beans. While the food wasn’t particularly memorable, it had some highlights worth noting.
The chips and salsa were a standout — freshly made with a satisfying crunch and a flavorful salsa that had just the right amount of heat. However, the main dishes didn’t quite live up to the same level. The chicken enchiladas were decent, but the beans and sauce were a bit soupy for my taste, and overall, the meal felt like it was missing something. That said, the portions were generous, making it easy to take leftovers home for another meal.
The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. Mi Patio’s charm lies in its welcoming atmosphere, bar, and satisfying portions, even if the food itself didn’t leave a lasting impression. For a casual night out or a quick Mexican meal, it’s a solid option, but it might not become your go-to for the ultimate Mexican food craving.

We’ve been to this restaurant a handful of times, and every single visit feels like coming home. Elio, Christian, and Danny are incredibly courteous and always checking in to make sure everything is perfect. not to mention the prices we spent less than $80 on a family of five!!! And happy hour is from 2 to 6 PM! Margaritas are a definite must try! I’ve honestly never been to a restaurant this attentive. Sometimes it’s hard to leave because of how comfortable and welcome they make you feel. I would recommend this place a thousand times over.

Really enjoyed the food and service at this restaurant. Waiters were attentive and very efficient and kind. Seemed almost like a family-run place for sure. The decorations were fun. The floor could have been cleaner with as many staff as they had.
The food was great. Lots of options and all of it was tasty. Carne asada was cooked very well and it all came out hot.

I’ve been going here for decades and it never disappoints. We went last night, sat at the bar, and once again had a great experience. The bartender was attentive and quick. We ordered the cheese crisp, which easily rivals the old Macayo’s, and the mini chimi appetizer. Both were out before we had time to choose entrees. We quickly realized we didn’t need 2 from entrees so we ordered the Mexican pizza and the meatball soup ( abligonas or something like that). Best decision ever. I had never had their Mexican pizza and it was amazing. Crispy, not overloaded, and came with guac! I’ve had the soup before and it was everything I remembered and expected. Add 2 house margaritas and our total was $61. We left with full bellies and some leftovers. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I heard so much good stuff about this place, so I had to go check it out myself, and I was impressed. First impressions are everything. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by staff and the bartender, Mike. I was alone, so I sat at the bar. The mom-and-pop vibe was in full effect, and I wasn’t mad at all. This place is a true mom-and-pop gem. Mike poured me some bomb Cadillac margaritas, and I’m usually a margarita snob when it comes to the tequila type, but it was great! I didn’t try the house margaritas, but they seemed to be a hit with the other customers. Next time, I will give them a try. As soon as I sat down, I was handed chips and salsa… bomb, it was! I ordered the Mexican pizza because that’s what I was craving. I couldn’t even eat the whole thing. It was amazing, just like the picture and reviews. I just added some sour cream, and next time I will add guacamole. I will be coming back for more because everyone’s food looked delicious, and the portions were huge.

This place was fantastic!! From the chicken enchiladas, which were the best I’ve EVER had, to the margaritas I just couldn’t get enough of…mi patio did not disappoint. I was a bit put off by the wobbly tables, but the service from Freddy more than made up for it.
