If you’re looking for the best BBQ in Genesee County, Famous Dave’s is hands-down the place to go. The Southside Rib Tips are packed with flavor—perfectly seasoned, tender, and smoked just right. The St. Louis Ribs are just as impressive, with that ideal balance of smoky bark and juicy meat that falls off the bone without ever getting mushy.
And the sides? Absolutely top-tier. The Mac n’ Cheese and Fries are a a must try and ridiculously addictive. The baked potatoes are just as impressive, always cooked perfectly and loaded to perfection. These sides don’t just complement the BBQ, they stand out on their own.
What really sets Famous Dave’s apart are the sauces. They have a flavor for everyone. Nothing really compares to that Rich n sassy sauce. Hands down the best BBQ.

Food horrible!!! Mac and cheese had corn in it didn’t see anywhere on the DoorDash menu that said corn. Mashed potatoes where dried out, rib tips and catfish fingers were old and absolutely disgusting. I guess they serve DoorDash customers trash. I won’t spend my money here anymore

Long wait that could go much smoother if the restaurant had buzzers or texts messages for when your table is ready. Instead the hostess kept having to go outside and look for people when their table was ready because if you’re outside waiting you can’t hear your name being called. And this delays the process. Overall food was good. Still can’t believe that five pieces of catfish is double catfish though. Seems odd to get five pieces instead of six. Waitress was very nice.

Only downgraded on the atmosphere because I always sit in the bar area and it can get hot. You have so long time, loyal employees because you treat them right, keep it up! Good BBQ, I’ve never been upset on any of my experiences and I had an office within 100 yards for over 20 years. Christeen is the MVP, never let her leave! Roxeoe is always one of a kind!

I ordered a half slab of ribs plus two meats dinner. Everything was dry as a bone, because there was not a single drop of barbecue sauce included anywhere. My main issue was with the ribs. They were not smoked. These were standard boiled and baked ribs like you would get from a pizzeria. I like famous Dave’s, and I’ve never had an issue ordering from them before. I would just avoid this location.

We had Famous Dave’s cater our wedding and I couldn’t be happier! The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests. The staff who worked our event were spectacular. They set up the buffet, helped serve the food, and cleaned up and scraped all the guests’ plates —just a fantastic job! Highly, highly recommend!!

We arrived for a surprise party for my wife’s 70th birthday. There are 6 of us and we ordered the All American barbecue special. All the choices tasted great and it was a totally ample amount of food. We took enough home for dinner the next day. Our Server was excellent.. very friendly and conscientious. Overall it was a very happy, enjoyable experience.

The food is good, nice portions decent prices. Reasonable specials are offered if you have the app. My favorite is the St. Louis Ribs, Wilbur beans and Cole slaw. With corn muffin. It was delicious.

Decided to try the $7 banana pudding with the rib meal. Ribs were . For the spoonful of banana pudding I got, it was tasty but I got robbed. First off, why put pudding in same bag with hot ribs . Secondly, the serving I got couldn’t have been a regular $7 serving. It barely covered the bottom of the container and most of that was whipped cream. One cup had a decent amount. I need an explanation and refund!! BTW, the pics are before anything was touched!! I removed the lid for clear pics. Ridiculous!!

My experience was excellent. I ordered 1lb of brisket. It was delicious although I’d kinda say that I thought it may had been a little less than 1lb. But that’s ok. It was just for me to enjoy and possibly have for lunch for a couple of days afterwards.
