I used to come here a lot with my family and I feel like it used to taste a lot better than it does now. I went once last year with my parents and it wasn’t that good, and haven’t been back since until last week with some friends. I was skeptical that it’d be good, but it was actually not bad. We got the humongous boat to share between 7 people and it was just slightly not enough, so I think it’d be perfect for 6 people. It was all rolls and nigiri so I’d have preferred sashimi options. Some of the rolls were weird, like they had a pink sauce on it, that made me hesitant to eat. The rolls were also massive so you gotta channel your inner Chef Paik to expand your mouth to its fullest. I noticed they included some more less-typical fish like otoro, so it wasn’t just all the same. I’m not sure if I’d come here too often but it is a good spot for bigger groups and they do have a large menu that can accommodate a variety of palates. Service here is also the best tho, never any complaints there

Went here for lunch. It’s not entirely a Japanese restaurant as it also offers Korean food. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. It was appreciated that they opened on time.
I ordered the salmon teriyaki with roll and sushi. The rolls and sushi were top quality. I thoroughly enjoyed them. The kimchi it came with was too spicy for me. The salmon was okay but the bed of vegetables (primarily cabbage) wasn’t too flavorful. The salad dressing was tasty. Seems like nitpicking but two people including myself would have preferred the lettuce in the green salad to be more bite-sized.
If I craved Japanese food and I was in the area, I would go again but I wouldn’t purposefully go here for a meal.

Amazing sushi spot! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and well-prepared, and the presentation was beautiful. I ordered the Bluefin Tuna Chu-Toro Donburi, and it was easily the highlight of my meal. The chopped chu-toro was rich, buttery, and perfectly seasoned, and the three pieces of salmon sashimi on the side melted in my mouth. The sushi rice was well-balanced and complemented the fish perfectly.
Great quality, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu!

Great sushi restaurant with consistently fresh, high-quality fish and beautiful presentation. The sushi platters and boats are especially impressive with generous portions, vibrant colors, and a great variety of rolls and sashimi to share. Everything tasted clean and well-balanced, and you can tell they really care about quality.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal or a special occasion, this is a solid spot for sushi. Definitely worth a visit!

Been here a couple of times and have ordered takeout and I’ve always enjoyed their sushi. We went during lunch time so it was pretty busy and service was a bit slow where we always had to catch someone for assistance. Price was moderate. Overall, food was tasty and would come back again n

We got the sushi and maki platter. It was overall good. They had this one weird tomato roll though with a bunch of crab and mayo???? Not sure how that choice was made. Octopus was super chewy. But everything else was good. I would stick to just the sushi here as opposed to the rolls.

My family and I have been regulars at Mi-Ne Sushi in Markham for years, and it never fails to leave us craving more. It’s our effortless go-to for top-notch sushi.
The fish is always impeccably fresh, with rolls and nigiri bursting with clean, balanced flavors that hit just right every time. The space feels welcoming with staff who genuinely enhance the vibe through their attentiveness, and the reliable takeout option makes it easy to bring that quality home on busy nights. A timeless neighborhood staple.

The food here is absolutely delicious — just like the sushi I had in Japan! Everything was so fresh and flavorful, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. On top of that, the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

The plating (yes, plate) of chirashi donburi is visually shocking. It was served on a risotto plate instead of a bowl, this is a first to me. Then there’s romaine lettuce and asparagus?! A few slices of seaweed on the side. And a not so crispy fried seaweed in the middle. The selection of seafood is very disappointed at the price they are charging. Addition of imitation crab meat makes the dish looks cheap. Overall is not visually appealing. This has to be one of the worst chirashidon I had in memory. The portions is ok, but tastewise is pretty plain and nothing outstanding to speak of.
At $38 (Aug 2025), this is way overpriced. Many places in the area at $20-25 range are much better in flavor, selection and presentation.
As for service, it is not bad and it’s promptly.
