Family owned restaurant in Tyler. This is my first time at this location & trying their menudo rojo. Complimentary chips were good the warm salsa rojo and warm white cheese sauce were very good! Menudo rojo hit the spot… and aid order it again!

Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Tyler and I’ve been to a lot and normally they’re all the same and I am really picky but … I promise you there is nothing nothing that they make that will disappoint your taste buds !! and not only is there food amazing but there attitudes are always positive and you can tell that they enjoy making there customers happy and enjoy being there with a smile to greet you every time .. and I have eaten at pretty much every Mexican restaurant In Tyler and or the surrounding areas and I have to say this one is my favorite. Literally I go there every week sometimes twice a week lol not exaggerating lol it’s amazing. You should go in and try it. They have the best queso and salsa I’ve ever had and that’s a big thing for me ! I go to Chuy‘s or some other nice restaurant and I pay over $100 for pretty much two people I go to this place and pay half of what I pay at the other places and to me this place is 100% better It’s Next-door to Wendy’s Close to downtown it’s a small little building but the atmosphere is amazing. The food is wow and it’s not expensive. I mean you can’t beat that. You can call it in and pick it up in the drive-through or you can go inside and eat, it may not look like much on the outside just a little mom and Pop restaurant but their food. Their customer service is better than any restaurant around Tyler by far you have to try it seriously I promise you will have the same reaction I have had each time I have had the pleasure of eating there or picking up my food in drive-through and coming home with it, It’s You should try it seriously and tell me what you think. I mean, who wouldn’t want to get something that taste way better than these expensive Mexican restaurants that are Pat most of the time and they overcharge like so bad when you can go to this nice mom and Pop shop with great attitudes from the employees the food is amazing and it’s half the cost I mean seriously not even half the cost. It’s so worth your time and money. Just try it. Let me know what you think. ‍♀️

Good ole fashioned Tex Mex with some authentic as well .
The best part is the price !
I had enchilada combo with taco and chips , hot sauce and queso . 10.00 !
Tipped 5 for a total of 15.00!
Try and beat that anywhere!

One of my favorite spots since moving here from Dallas a few years ago. Reminds me of home. Great breakfast tacos too! A little slow but well worth the wait. Everything comes out fresh.

Food is absolutely amazing. We tried a few different plates and all of them were delicious. The charro beans were so flavorful, as well as the rice. The chili relleno was perfectly spicy and the chicken chimichanga was my favorite. Everyone is so nice as well. Definitely worth a stop

Holy smokes! After a long day, this hit the spot. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in Tyler, this is the spot.

My shrimp cocktail ceviche tostada was fantastic. My husband had shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them. Said probably the best he has ever had.

Thank you!

(JUST MY OPINION). 3⭐’s only because the server that took my order was very nice.

So the specials were reasonably priced but…. there was more fat than meat in the tacos and the shells weren’t toasted up this is the first time I’ve ever gotten tacos in my life and not finished them. Just so greasy. The flavor of the meat was decent but the uncooked shells were really disappointing though. I personally also really didn’t care for the salsa no onion or cilantro in it really just tomato water full of tomato skin pieces. Oddly it was giving a bit of canned tomato soup taste.

This might be some people’s taste but I personally wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I won’t be going back. I appreciated the staff being nice though.

We typically eat at the location on the loop, but they’re moving and we’re closed today, so we we decided to try this location. That was a mistake I will not make again. While the food was still good, I was treated like a gringo. Almost no sauce on my huevos ranchers, flour tortillas despite requesting corn, and no chips and salsa despite multiple requests. My son was served pancakes and only ten told that there was no syrup available. She then offered honey packets and told me they’re basically the same as syrup.

In my quest to find even more authentic Mexican food in East Texas I ended up here. I will say this was some of the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in the Tyler area. Why the three stars well? There was only two staff members working. One in the back kitchen area and one working in the front. This led to a longer wait time and was a bit annoying. Regardless of that I got my food to go.

Now on to the food we ordered the fluanta’s plate with rice and charro beans. The two cheese enchilada and beef taco plate and an order of the steak ranchero.

The food was absolutely amazing and was enjoyed by all the members of the family. They served a really lovely spicy salsa along with the meals and also a perfectly made salsa verde for the flauntas. The cheese enchiladas were perfectly delicious. Just enough cheese and sauce to make them enjoyable. The steak ranchero was spicy but it had just the right amount of heat..

They serve some of the best chips and salsa I’ve had in East Texas. They serve their chips, warmers as well as there’s also. Cuz of that. Might seem weird but to me it’s heaven. Also love that their chips are on the thicker side so you can scoop up more that yummy salsa.
