The moment I walked into Mi Mex Cocina, I knew I’d fall in love. This place is absolutely adorable. The artwork, the ambiance, the music and lighting were wonderful. There is outdoor seating but it was too cold to sit outside once it warms up, I’m definitely venturing out onto the deck. The food was absolutely delicious, very authentic! AND the serving size for their meals and appetizers are huge. Happy to take home leftovers! And the bonus, although it’s not needed to compliment the amazing food we were served, there are complimentary margaritas and they are delicious!!! The staff were so kind and welcoming. Definitely on my list of places to return.

Went here for my birthday dinner. We’re not from the area, so I had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere is a little “kitschy” but still fun to look around, and it was very clean – so bonus points there. The chips and salsa were great – the guacamole was definitely homemade. I got the veggie burrito and it was wonderful to have veggies other than onions and peppers. My partner had the carne asada tacos and said they were “worth the mess”. Portion sizes were very generous (keep that in mind when they bring out the chips). And, when the server/mgr/owner(?) heard it was my bday, he brought out an incredible tres leche cake and even sang to me! All in all, a wonderful birthday dinner!

I can’t believe this was our first time eating here after years of visiting family in the area. Not only is the decor fun and vibrant, but the food is very authentic, fresh, and cooked perfectly. This place is BYOB, but they also offer complimentary margaritas which was a nice surprise. There was only one server the night we were there and while we did have to wait a while for our food, it came out hot and our drinks were refilled promptly. The chicken mole was AMAZING – so tender you could shred it with a fork. It was served with 4 tortillas (your choice of flour or corn), seasoned rice, and beans. Plenty of food for the price, and it was even enough to take home for lunch the next day. Can’t wait to come back – I’d like to try the fajitas next!

My best friend recommended this place to me, she said it was really good authentic Mexican food. So I went on my lunch break and I really enjoyed it! They offer chips and salsa for the table which were tasty. I tried the ensalada de temporada. Everything was so fresh and it came in a taco bowl. I think it could be a meal on its own. I got the bolitas de cangrejo, they were alright, but a little heavy. And I tried a tacos dish as well and it was REALLY good. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend and I will definitely be going back.

Quality food and great customer service. I ordered the fajitas and the tacos. It was fantastic and the quantity was good. Loved the flan and it was very tasty. I was skeptical about getting the tacos first but it was really good and came with three different sauces, tasty meat and also lot of stuffing. Great atmosphere and will definitely visit again. Great place and worth a try.

I hope I can properly describe how amazing this restaurant is. I ordered here randomly one day on my lunch break at work and I ordered the chicken torta which came with the most amazing seasoned fries and delicious house made chips and salsa. The chicken torta was and is absolutely out of this world perfection. It has everything you want on it and then some. So amazingly made. I made my boyfriend order with me next time to try and was immediately obsessed with this restaurant and sandwich just as much as me! We probably order from here at least 3 times a month now. We usually will order and pick up but we had the pleasure of sitting down to eat at our new favorite place recently.
We were not disappointed. Dining here just made us love the restaurant more. Every detail is some welcoming and impressive. You feel very at home! Like you’re just eating at your favorite cousins house! Lol, very friendly staff and incredibly reasonable prices. We ordered 4 quesadillas to go for my family and sat down for appetizers, a complimentary margarita, and two entrees. Can you believe the bill was only about $100? We have tried almost everything on the menu and not one complaint. Everything you can order here is authentic, made with love and delicious as hell. A million stars. Stop by here and tip GENEROUSLY! They deserve it.

Excellent food with excellent service. They are a small family-owned place with great food. Crunchy chips and pico de gallo right from the start. The taquitos, fajitas, and carne asada were also smashing. We loved the Spanish rice that comes with the entrée, extremely fragrant and flavorful. Portions are huge too! They are also accommodating of Mexican dishes that are not on their menu and will try and make it for you.

A true Latino restaurant! BYOB! The food is so good. Grab a drink from the cooler as you pass by then snag a menu and pull up a seat! This place is casual and comforting. The service is friendly and flavors are over the top perfection. Now that we have found this little gem, it is our main Mexican restaurant. Sorry, we were so excited over our meals we forgot to take photos!
