We stopped to get groceries and saw this place next door. They have amazing reviews so we decided to give it a try. Happy to be adding to the amazing reviews now because this place was AWESOME!! Coming from San Diego, I take my Mexican food seriously. This place is super hole in the wall, authentic and we loved it! Service was wonderful and super friendly. Highly recommend!

I came to this place with no expectations, it looked ok from the outside and once I came inside it didn’t strike me as noteworthy. I waited a bit for the server to come but once she came by she recommended a few things to try and brought a few homemade salsas, I keep trying them and all of them were amazing. The food came, I ordered a milanesa (beef), it was one of the best ones I’ve ever had, this is high praise since I grew up eating them at home and my mom makes some really good ones. One thing they did not advertise and they totally should is that I ordered corn tortillas in the understanding that they will be factory made, I was mistaken, they were hand made and absolutely delicious. If you are in the area I highly recommend this place.

This place is great. Easy going vibe, super nice staff, and delicious food. The salsas are all really flavorful. They make their own corn tortillas and the tacos are quite big. The kitchen was full of people making the sopes shells. The sopes were our favorite!

We just happen to find this place and saw the great reviews. We know good Mexican food and we were impressed with the food. The place is like your usual cantina in authentic Mexican style, nothing fancy but the food is very tasty. We had the tacos and fajitas. I’ve been here twice, on our way to Sandpoint in Idaho from Tacoma. I wish it was closer but I will always make a stop here en route.

Awesome restaurant with super friendly staff and generous portions. Stopped here with friends for lunch on a cold day and was really impressed by the delicious food and service. The staff kept coming by to check on us and bring more chips, different salsas, beans, drinks. Maybe the best restaurant for 50 miles!

Great service, generous portions, reasonable prices. The entire place brought me back to Mexico.

We had a couple different tacos and each of them were executed very well. The fish tacos were still crispy when we ate them (sometimes they get soggy indicating they aren’t as fresh). Salsa and chips were on the house and I appreciate that.

Definitely will come back if I’m in the area

If you’re coming by towards closing, give them a call and see if they are still open!

Loved coming here during my working weekdays. I would order extra food for work and honestly amazing service and amazing people. Truly recommend those who have wanting to eat the best Mexican spot in town is here. I’ve tried several in town, and this one has to be my top 1, best in my opinion. I come from out of town and worked for months in this town, and this was my go-to spot for dinner. Hope my review is helpful for those who are curious about this restaurant. Really recommend it here 11/10 in my opinion.

This place is a charming little hole in the wall that shares a building with an old market store and fruit stand. The floor is chipped cement, most of the seats have no cushion and the decor is out of date and partially falling apart. The staff here are also charming and also provide excellent service. I liked my shrimp fajitas but I don’t think the shrimp was cleaned at all and my friend said that her chimichanga was dry. When she asked for some sauce for it, they brought a running guac and a chipotle. Lastly the bar only serves margaritas and beer, but the margaritas are made from a mix and not fresh. All in all, it wasn’t horrible but we won’t be revisiting when in the area.

Fresh house made tortillas, fantastic tomatillio salsas, and the nicest server. We only got the steak tacos so we need to try more of the menu but at this point in time, this place is promising. The room is a bit odd but the service and food make up for it.
