Was very excited about this place coming to Greer. We’ve had authentic Jamaican cuisine when we visited Jamaica recently. This place does not disappoint. The jerk chicken is great. The staff are very kind and helpful. When visiting Greer I recommend stopping in.

Michael, his staff, and the food were all deserving of 5 stars. Took my family to have lunch to celebrate my grandmothers birthday. The food was fresh, the staff was friendly, the service was quick and I loved the environment. So awesome being from Greer and seeing new cuisine available. Michael thank you for your hospitality.

BEST OXTAILS IN TOWN!! The meat falls right off the bone! Everything on the menu is delicious but my two favorites are the oxtails and the curry chicken. Awesome customer service also! Just great people cooking and serving great food, you won’t be disappointed!

Super delicious food. Chicken falls off the bone. Not too spicy. Just enough heat. Not too salty. Rice and veggies were very yummy. Can’t wait to share this place with my friends and family.

I have ordered from here twice and I want to like it so bad but it just lacks in flavor so much. I’ve got the curry chicken and jerk chicken. Both are tender and juice but there’s such a lack in flavor and spices which is exactly what I would expect with Jamaican food. The rice, beans, and cabbage are good but I have to add salt and pepper. The coco bread honestly taste the same as loaf bread from the grocery store. They definitely can cook don’t get me wrong on that, but the execution takes away from how good the food could be. I think their prices are good too. If I were to give any criticism to the owners would just be to elevate the flavor.

I ordered the “jerk chicken”. It was disappointing in the sense that when it came out it wasn’t infused in a typical Jamaican jerk seasoning (such as Walker’s Woods) . It was covered in what basically tasted like barbecue sauce. It is a safe bet that it was not even marinated overnight. If one were to “Google” jerk recipes, you can see the images and how the jerk seasoning is infused into the chicken. The chicken is not covered in sauce. There is no need for it because the chicken has been properly infused with the jerk seasoning.
I used to eat weekly at a Jamaican restaurant, just outside of my neighborhood and I am very familiar with the process. This certainly is not jerk chicken. It is baked chicken with some kind of sauce (very mediocre at best) drizzled over it. Lastly, they have no ice. They recommend that you walk over to the taphouse to get a cup of ice.
