Absolutely authentic Mexican cuisine! I’ve tried Mexican restaurants across the country, and La Hacienda stands out as genuinely authentic—no shortcuts here. The food was excellent, served piping hot, and brought to our table quickly. The service was outstanding; we never wanted for anything. Prices are very affordable, making it a fantastic value. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, perfect for families but also with an option for those who enjoy a drink with their meal. This is truly a gem in Pikeville. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great Mexican dining experience! ️

Really fantastic service! Our cups never went empty and someone was always checking in on us. The Fajita Quesadilla (lunch!) was a little salty for me but I assumed it was the sauce on the meat. The table salsa is on the spicier side. Cheese dip mellowed it out.

Stopped in just passing through the area and thought Mexican food sounds good, it was good and cheap too. Fast friendly service, nice portions, and comfortable setting with either tables and chairs or booths. Not much in the atmosphere department but adequate for chowing down good Mexican cuisine.

Loved this restaurant. I seak out Mexican restaurants wherever I travel and this restaurant was a very good experience.
Ordered the Nachos Texanos. Have a look at the size of the shrimp in my photo! The shrimp was cooked perfectly; not overcooked and rubbery. The seasoning was delicious.
Ordered a dos xx draft beer and was surprised it was the large size. Tasted great with the meal.
The service was great too. Friendly staff.
The price? Very affordable! Many of the restaurants of the same I’ve been to would have cost at least 25-30% more.
The only negative, if you can call it that, is the smell of Pinesol cleaning solution. They were actively keeping the restaurant clean so I really appreciate that, just would prefer less of a cleaning scent.
I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Great service, excellent food, and authentic decor. All the tables and chairs are different wood carvings. They brought chips and salsa just as we sat down.

Restaurant is tired and unclean. Worst tamale I’ve ever put in my mouth. Everything about it was dry. The beef in the enchilada was too salty to eat. The chile relleno was flavorless. The best thing on my plate was the refried beans. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Pikeville.

The chips and salsa were very good and not over salted. The food was very mild. Nothing tasted bad but nothing stood out either. The wait staff came by frequently but seemed abrupt. They charge extra for ordering off the lunch menu during the weekend.
