There are very few reasons that I would drive to Sewickley from the south hills, but Mi Cita is definitely one. Everything hits perfectly. The space, cozy but no cluttered or cramped.
The drinks are a perfect combination of new flavors and mixes with a bartender that can also serve up spot on classics.
The food…. Well I’ve been there twice now and on the second time my party of four decided to just get one of everything and it did not disappoint.

I am consistently impressed by this establishment; it’s quickly become a favorite, and I’ve returned several times since my first visit.
The bar program is exceptional. I’ve had the pleasure of sampling most of their cocktails, all of which were amazing, but the sweet wine in particular was a phenomenal surprise.
The entire experience is elevated by the incredible staff, who are warm and genuinely friendly. The space itself is stunning: the decor is a fun, unexpected, and perfect fit for Sewickley. Adding to the fantastic atmosphere is the music selection, which is phenomenal.
Learning that the owner, who is from El Salvador, built the entire theme around sharing and exposing Latin American culture to his clients was the cherry on top. This is a truly wonderful spot that consistently delivers.

Very excited to have Mi Cita in Sewickley. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. The cocktail menu had classics along with daring and interesting creations. Conversations with Brad, Alex and Richard were great. Looking forward to returning over and over to try new cocktails and menu items. Highly recommend!

We’ve been to both the old concept, Big Springs, and the new Mi Cita. Unfortunately, we felt the prices were a bit too high. The $16 cocktails were well made, but not quite at a ‘wow’ level to justify the cost. We also noticed that most groups were pairs like us, yet the layout was dominated by 4-top tables, which felt odd for smaller parties and made the space seem poorly utilized.

Mi Cita is a great add to the Sewickley scene. Great spot for cocktails and some tapas, with great service. Drinks are very well made, the small plates pair perfectly, and the decor creates a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal for a relaxed afternoon/evening.

I am always absolutely excited to have another world class restaurant in Sewickley, and this friendly and hip spot did not disappoint. The staff is absolutely generous and knowledgeable, it felt like I was a regular despite the fact that it was our first time. It’s just the right spot to share a few plates and a couple of tasty drinks. The atmosphere is hip but comfortable, the food tastes gourmet but accessible, and the drinks menu was creative without being over the top. I felt like I was on a vacation exploring and discovering something totally new and exciting. I can’t wait to head back, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sewickley area.

Excellent food, cocktails, and atmosphere. Best ceviche I have ever had. Highly recommend the steak tartar and the tostadas as well. Great place to unwind and have a few drinks with incredibly fresh food and flavors. Very awesome seating for private parties as well if you are looking to go with a group.

So glad I got to go here on opening night! Great place with a great atmosphere and lounge aesthetic, surprisingly good price for everything as well.
Small plates (that’s the point), but what you get looks and tastes great and pairs well with their current drink menu. They mentioned the menu should be expanding in the coming weeks and looking forward to seeing what’s new!
Totally recommend if you’re looking for a quick drink and bite or to spend a while and catch up with friends and relax.
