My wife and I walked up here for Saturday lunch the other day and it was terrific – so good we came back about a week later and walked up to take dinner home. The food is served so piping fresh and hot that even after a 20 minute walk home it was still perfectly warm and tasty. The birria tacos were awesome and my wife loves the enchiladas. This will absolutely be our new favorite local place!

The staff is extremely inviting and friendly, and always willing to help you try new dishes. More than a few times I’ve asked for something slightly custom than what was listed, and they’ve always delivered. They make the perfect street tacos, and their birria is super juicy.
I make sure to visit every week to support my friends there, and they’re always more than happy greeting new customers.

I ordered a Parillada and it was absolutely amazing. One of the best things I have ever tasted. This new location is much closer than the one in Manassas so I can get there much quicker. Very affordable and the atmosphere is very alive. Definitely recommend!

Our favorite Salvadorean restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff is very friendly. The owners truly care about making sure their customers are satisfied. We moved to a different state recently but every time go back to VA, we make sure we stop by this restaurant. It is THAT good!

The employee were super nice and even made me a special request burrito. They put French fries and avocado in the burrito. The meat was delicious and seasoned perfectly. This was my second time here and I’m definitely going to be going back. 10/10

I cannot express enough how amazing Mi Casita is!! We catered them for our wedding of about 165-170 people and they were truly the best. Norma and Andrew’s professionalism and kindness made our day SO easy and our guests kept raving about the food throughout the night. The grilled chicken with mushroom sauce, rice, yuka, and salad was perfection. We will definitely be coming back, the food is so good and authentic. 10000% recommend Mi Casita!!

I usually don’t write food reviews, but after giving this place a second chance, I feel like I need to share my experience. I’ve ordered from here twice now because I love Salvadoran food. The first time, I had pupusas, and while I don’t know what kind of cheese they use, it was very rubbery, which put me off from coming back.
However, this morning, I wasn’t feeling well and wanted some comforting soup, so I decided to give this place another try. I called ahead to order a sopa de pollo and specifically asked for just the broth and vegetables—no chicken. I repeated this request four times and even asked if the soup was homemade or frozen. The woman on the phone assured me it was made yesterday, which I was happy about because day-old soup usually has great flavor.
When I got home and opened my order, I was completely disappointed. The soup had nothing but broth, cabbage, and a piece of chicken I didn’t want. I expected a variety of vegetables—potatoes, carrots, zucchini, squash—but got none of that. To make things worse, the rice was undercooked and hard.
I paid $20 for what was supposed to be a hearty, homemade soup, but it didn’t live up to expectations at all. Sadly, I won’t be returning. I hope others have a better experience here, but based on my two visits, this place just isn’t for me.
