I needed a quick bite while shopping, so I stopped in. I was looking for authentic Mexican, and the only thing I could find in an 8 page menu (bad sign already) was the street tacos. The price for carne asada was over $15, so that was a deal breaker. I opted for the tacos al pastor for just below $15. While waiting, the chips and salsa arrived. Salsa was just tomato puree out of a can, nasty. As I was eating the first chip, I looked up and saw a 93 sanitation grade. I prayed a little, asking for health after this meal because that score was not doing it for me. I should have left, probably.

The food arrived quickly, faster than in a Chick-A-Filet drive through line. I wonder how long and how well that al pastor meat had been at the wrong temperature… the tacos arrived with that infamous dried up Cheeto looking rice and a lake of crusted up brown mush they call refried beans. Why do they do that? Cut the price and don’t serve something anybody with a food IQ higher than a roach won’t eat.

The tacos were greasy as all get out. I have had tacos al pastor before, and they were full of flavor without the grease. These, all you could taste was the grease, even after I squeezed lime on them as if I was trying to cure the plague with it.

Service was great, very attentive, but the quality for the price was not there. Adios amigos… you shall never see my face again.

Pretty bad food. Such a shame that this is the closest Mexican to us. Very very unlikely to return here. Server was not attentive. Food was awfullly underwhelming. Birria was bland.

This used to be my favorite spot but I am done after today. Nachos watery with almost no cheese, chicken and rice barely chicken and even less cheese. Nachos were also stale. Too many times my order has been messed up.

I eat here every Sunday for many years. Most of the waiters know us and my kids since little. So nice and polite. Good here is always great. Atmosphere is Mexican of course and very clean . They are fast usually too. Tea is wonderful. Free chips and salsa is great!!
Price is not bad depending on what you buy. I always order lunch 16 steak omg so good with melted cheese and rice or beans on side.
Number 6 for burrito lovers is always good. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. They give to go cups and boxes. Next to Ollie’s so that’s a walk it all off plus lol. You won’t be disappointed here that’s for sure .

I have been going to this specific mi casita for over twenty years. Over the course of the last YEAR we have ordered take out 4-5 times and each time, we have been more than disappointed.

Every single time we ordered queso it would never come. I just got off the phone with management about this and the most they were willing to do was a voucher for a *small* queso. I begrudgingly agree while I can hear his staff talking in the background about how, “it’s not a big deal”, very professional.

All this said and done, I sit down and what was very clearly ordered as an all chicken dish is all ground beef. Now again, I would let it pass for the sake of my nostalgia about the restaurant and because service is decent still if you dine in except for the fact that it’s the second time this has happened on take out.

The one time my mother went in about it they rolled their eyes at her and just told her there was nothing they could do and shooed her away, again, very professional.

I hate leaving this review but I’m genuinely so tired and all I want is refund.

I don’t want a voucher, I don’t want to “talk” to management while staff talks bs in the background, I don’t want to be shamed and guilted for being dissatisfied with something I payed for, I want this dealt with and done so I don’t ever have to order from here again, it’s truly so much extra stress that no one needs

I was craving Mexican food and decided to give this place a try!! I was so disappointed at the mediocre quality they put out! I ordered a molcajete as I do at most Mexican restaurants and it’s the first I’ve ever seen one that wasn’t in the stone bowl. The steak was dry. The queso was watery. They even gave me 2 blocks of cheese nothing melted. There wasn’t any flavor. I’ll never visit here again

I know I could’ve said something but to how disappointed I was I ate and left. This is the worst “Mexican” food I’ve ever tasted!

I had to roll myself out of this place. Every bite was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating. I had the No. 7 combination dinner — beef enchilada with red sauce, chili relleno, rice, and beans. Chips and salsa are super good, too.

I had an excellent meal, chicken enchiladas with poblano. I typically get the tacos al pastor and they are excellent as well.

Very much enjoyed the food. Walked in as the doors opened. The seating is generally booth style.
I was served tortilla chips and offered hot or mild sauce. I choose hot. The sauce was ok with not too much flavor or heat.
The menu is large with many options. For my first time I always choose a beef taco and poblano pepper. If the basics are done well then a Mexican restaurant is deserving a high rating. If the food tastes like Taco Bell….well.

The beef taco was excellent. Lots of flavorful ground beef, freshly grated cheese, and tasty tomatoes and lettuce.

The poblano pepper was excellent. Highly recommend. The chilli relenos stole the show.

Great lunch. Good price and friendly service. Definitely recommend.
