We ordered the Apollo fish, and it was really delicious. The goat biryani tasted good, but it didn’t have many pieces. The paneer biryani was too spicy for us. Overall, the food was okay.

Overall it was just ok. Nothing really wrong, maybe not just my taste but nothing special that I’d go out of my way for.

We tried a few dishes, food flavoring was a bit off. Dosa was very salty, chole was extremely spicy probably due to the green chilies used. (I understand individual peppers are just sometimes hotter so not always predictable) idly were good and tasted fresh, soft and spongy. Pakora were good as well. Biryani was also just ok, heavy on the potatoes vs other vegetables.

Service was fine, a bit slow as they had a lot of takeout orders being worked on. (Always frustrating to hear that vs prioritizing customers dining in!) and it was clean and somewhat ordinary decor.

All in all, perfectly fine meal but as I noted don’t feel it was anything special. YMMV.

We went here after visiting the temple, and we’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely incredible, a little spicy, but very good! I would call it a feast! My favorite dish was not on the menu and they still made it. It was the best version of that dish I’ve ever had! 11/10

I ordered goat biryani from this restaurant for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The taste was excellent, and both the quantity and quality were impressive. I can confidently say it’s the best goat biryani I’ve had in this area so far. I just hope they’re able to maintain that level of consistency going forward.

This is a casual Indian restaurant that’s popped up relatively recently. My parents love the biryani here, but we feel it’s a bit weak when it comes to dosas. My mom’s chicken tikka dosa came with small portions of sambar, and my chocolate dosa came with not quite enough chocolate sauce.

The dosas weren’t crispy and tasted a bit dry, if that makes sense, like there was too much flour (I realize dosas aren’t made of flour, but whatever the equivalent is in the recipe) and not enough shortening and other things. The baby corn Manchurian was okay, and the mango lassi was good.

I realize that since this is a biryani place, it’s not strange that their biryani would be great while their other dishes would be weaker.

However, I do expect that when going to a restaurant, all the dishes will taste decent enough, even if they’re stronger in some areas than others. Because the dosas were really not great, and it was rather cold in the restaurant, I’m giving a 2.

The food here was truly excellent. It was served hot and fresh to our table. The spices in the Chicken Biryani dish were so good that they permeated right into the sections of rice that had no sauce. This was my first time there and it was the best Indian food that I’ve had in a long time. I do eat Indian food on a daily to weekly basis. The dining area is nothing fancy, so there is no need for anything but casual dress, but the food is as good as fine dining. Staff were friendly and most accomodating, as well. I will certainly be back.

Me and my friends recently visited Bawarchi Biryani Pointe in East Windsor, and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

We ordered a few appetizers and biryanis. Shockingly, every appetizer tasted exactly the same — same flavor, same texture — despite having different names on the menu. When we asked the staff about it, they casually said there’s only a “slight difference” between each appetizer. Honestly, if all dishes taste identical, what’s the point of offering them as different items?

To make things worse, we noticed a strange tangy flavor — later realized they had mango pickle and garlic pickle ingredients mixed into the appetizers. By the time we reached home, all of us were feeling uneasy, and the entire night was ruined with severe stomach irritation and diarrhea.

Adding to the frustration, they even added gratuity for just four people without informing us. We had to ask for it to be removed, which they eventually did — but it felt very unprofessional.

Overall, this place felt extremely unhygienic, irresponsible, and careless about customer health. I sincerely warn others to think twice before eating here. Food safety and honesty should be a restaurant’s first priority — sadly, this one failed completely.

We started off with the Chicken 999, a superior substitute for boneless hot wings, let me explain. I generally do not like boneless wings as I love the traditional wings only, however, after tasting this appetizer, I would gladly order these as an equal substitute for real wings. These crispy breaded chunks of chicken were so flavorful with a substantial amount of heat that were an unexpected delight. I even enjoyed some pieces with the garnish of sliced cabbage, it provided an additional pleasant crunch. We also had the Veg Samosa that was piping hot which came with a thick soy based sauce that was also delicious, that’s 2 for 2 out of the gate, a wonderful start. Both dishes came out at different times which was fine as we were sharing everything we ordered which was really a bonus. Now the rest of our lunch began to be interesting, we ordered 2 different chicken Biryanis entrees but with the language barrier, it appeared we received one (it was chicken, but wasn’t what we ordered) that we thought was what we ordered and a goat Biryanis. They removed the goat dish and then came out with our original order. So in essence we had 3 entrees on our table, we were a bit confused and the waiter couldn’t explain why, again to a language issue. So we ended up having (pictured in order) chicken 999, Veg Samosa, Hyderabadi chicken dum biryanis (I believe), Alakai Biryanis chicken and Temper biryanis chicken. They originally billed us for the extra entree and after explaining that we didn’t order the one biryanis, it was immediately removed from our bill. We also had the Indian Chai tea (hot) which was absolutely delicious. The Temper biryanis was supposed to be really hot, but IMO it was at the upper level of heat but did not pass that point where it was too hot to enjoy, however, I enjoy spicy dishes so I’ll leave it at that. We really enjoyed this place, it isn’t fancy by any means, but it had great service and absolutely delicious and flavorful food. The menu was very descriptive compared to other Indian restaurants and was the main reason for choosing to stop in, a credit to the owners to provide this necessary information for those of us that are uninformed. We can’t wait to order other different dishes thanks to how they are described. I highly recommend this place and cannot believe it isn’t rated higher, seriously.
