Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant

We ordered for delivery and the order was wrong. When we called the restaurant they were less than helpful and told us to call doordash, even though they made the mistake by packing the wrong items. We’ve been playing phone tag with the driver, the restaurant, and door dash trying to get what we actually ordered. The food that did come looks mediocre. Do yourself a favor and find a different restaurant.

great service .. they treat customers with respect and warm welcoming staff..
their drinks cocktails was amazing great taste with perfect mix..
their boss is super cool guy.
Best place to stop by when you are traveling from Tennessee to Atlanta for dinner..

The service and food at this location is alright for the most part. Sometimes both the service and food are ok and sometimes it is not. It will do for a quick place to go for a meal most of the time. That said, I want to warn people that they have apparently started the practice of adding gratuity to a persons ticket if they chose not to tip on a previous visit. Per the state of GA, gratuity cannot just be added to a bill—especially if tipping is normally done at the discretion of the customer. If the restaurant wants to use an automatic gratuity policy, they must clearly state this on their menu or have servers inform customers at the start of the meal, preferably before they place an order. To suddenly add gratuity to a persons check and to tell them it was done because they didn’t tip on a previous visit is wrong and doesn’t adhere to the law. Either a restaurant applies an automatic gratuity policy across the board properly, or they don’t do it at all and allow customers to tip as they see fit or not (whatever the case may be). It is not something that can, or should, be applied to certain individuals just cause they didn’t tip on a previous visit. Tipping is not something a customer is required to do and should never be in my opinion. For those restaurants that opt to implement an automatic gratuity policy they know that folk can decide to go somewhere that doesn’t do this. Anyway, though I have gone to Mi Casa Mexican restaurant for years (largely because it is close) I will not be going back because of the improper application of gratuity and because they singled out a customer for this purpose. So, if you go to this place to eat, just know that this could be done to you as well. They get less than 3 stars for doing this to even one customer and potentially others.

I stopped in at Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant for lunch today. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. They have a decent lunch menu with some good affordable options. The guacamole was the only big downside. It was chunky and overpriced. The decor was cute though. All in all, it’s a decent place for a quick Mexican lunch.

They catered my Wife’s birthday party and it was great. We had grilled chicken and beef with beans and rice and queso. The grilled chicken was wonderful. Prompt and very helpful in my planning for the surprise meal.

I have been going to Mi Casa since 2013! The owners and staff have watched my kids grow up and I’ve watched theirs. We’ve moved a lot but we always go to Mi Casa on Cinco De Mayo. It’s a good 40 minute ride from home but it’s a family tradition. This year I had to share the sad news that my mom passed away & that’s why she wasn’t with us. So many of the staff came up to give me a hug and offer their condolences. It’s truly a family business and I’m grateful after all these years I consider them a piece of my family ❤️ They have the best salsa you will ever taste! Try the cheesy rice with whatever meat you like. It’s delicious! I ordered it so much they put it on the menu

I did not like the lunch nachos. Maybe personal preference, but the cheese was hot n watery, globs of sour cream…gobs! When I said something, maybe she didn’t understand, but said, ok no problem.

A friend and I stopped in here after work for a beer and snack. We split the large nachos and got Dos Equis. The beer selection was very small. The service was excellent – the young man tending bar was so sweet! The nachos were so yummy and the beer was just right. Great place to stop!
