I love this place. The food is made fresh and it’s actually hot when it comes out. The pork flautas are just amazing. I actually dream about them.. The salsa is ridiculous. The service is super friendly and attentive. Oh and the golden margarita.. I hate when you go to a Mexican place and they have shitty margaritas… NOT the case here.

I wish I still lived in this neighborhood because I would order from this place EVERY NIGHT. The food is soooo good, really authentic and the people here are so sweet. My friends and I came in for dinner for my bachelorette and the second we walked in the door, our server was super excited and celebrated with us. Very sweet, amazing margs, and we genuinely had so much fun here. (Also drunk leftovers that night were BOMB). Definitely try it, I got the enchiladas and they were perfect.

Omg! Wow! My brother brought me out here for a Sunday funday experience as he has eaten here before. I was blown away by the customer service and attentiveness when we arrived. Our margaritas were made to perfection. The service the service the service!! It should be commended because they were on point with it all. My margarita was a bit too sweet but it was nothing ice couldn’t fix! We had the Jack honey fajitas per recommendation and my goodness was it a good one. We cleaned our plates!
Next time I need to save room for dessert, As there were many options that looked delicious. I recommend coming with family or friends or a date as the environment is welcoming for all of those things. I can’t wait to return.

The Good:
The establishment was clean, the waitress I interacted with was hospitable, the service was great, and the food for the most part was good. I ordered the enchiladas, beans, and rice, and it was average. I also ordered the nachos. In addition, you get free chips and salsa.
The Bad:
Now, the menu does not promise the nachos will be loaded rather it does state that it will be just nacho cheese chips; however, I think this establishment needs to load these nachos up and make it worth the customer’s wild.
Judgment:
Though they are not trying to knock your socks off with the quality (the food is pretty average), my experience here was good. I recommend it.

Styves Exantus
With so many options on ty 40, this authentic Mexican restaurant is one of my favorites. It’s a cozy, intimate setting but can seat parties over 10 and the location is right off of 29 for ease. Many of the special drinks are available all year round but the food and genuine flavor is the home Run. Brunch is our family’s preferred choice of time but considering there is not a lot of room it can get busy fast. I have had the fish, chicken and beef and all were great. If you love or even like authentic Mexican cuisine, this is a must!

I have traveled this country and ate at many, many Mexican restaurants and this is the worst I’ve had to date! The food is poor, steak so tuff I couldn’t eat it. The service was horrible, never got refills. I asked for my ‘jerky’ tacos to be removed from my bill and she told me ‘no, you ordered it’. My daughter ordered the Combo 2, couldn’t even tell which was an enchilada and which was a burrito. Very poorly seasoned food. And the rice, find a new season or lay off the Rice A Roni boxes! Also, I ALWAYS tip 20% because it’s not the waitress’s fault the food sucks but, you can’t even refill my cup or remove food I can’t even eat, you get no tip from me!!! Not sure how their rating was high, I guess family and friends…

We called in a carry out order for the Redwood Enchilada and a slice of Tres Leches cake. Since it was a carry out order I can’t really speak to service, but everyone we ran into was polite!
The Redwood Enchilada was not the rolled enchilada I’m used to but like, a layer of tortilla, filling, and then another layer of tortilla all covered in enchilada sauce. It wasn’t really clear what I was ordering when I got it. It was REALLY good though! It was seasoned well and the flavors were great.
It came with rice and two kinds of beans. The rice was like, wild rice? It was good mixed with the beans. I wish it had come with like a little side of guac, pico de Gallo, and sour cream like I’m used to from other places just to brighten it up a little!
The cake was delicious, moist, not too sweet, and the portion was decent. I really enjoyed everything I ate and will definitely go back to try more stuff!

Can I give “-10” stars. went last night, had a chili relleno, it made me v sick. The oil they’re using is old or reusing the oil used for getting or whatever, When i called to tell, she was so rude, and she wouldn’t even give her name. The food is pathetic, I’ve never had such bad food, and that’s saying something. One of the worst experience over all. Regretting terribly.
