The food at this restaurant is authentic from the pacific west coast of Colombia.
To say that is delicious falls short to describe it and forget about the customer service.
We had the pleasure to be helped by la señora Maria and I can’t say enough about how amazing was the experience with this legendary personality.
They close early but it’s well worth to take the time to go.

Incredible coastal Colombian cuisine. The pescado guisado is off the charts good. Bring your appetite as the plates are quite large. Cash only and they sell out quick so get there early.

We had a nice time here overall. We almost couldn’t come in because reservations were needed during the pandemic and we didn’t know – so call ahead. The hostess was kind enough to sit us though. She also brought us a few pieces of coconut brittle – and it was so good that we bought some to take home. Our entire table (5 of us) ordered 3 fried fish dishes. The portions were huge (granted, at $30 per dish for a small, homey restaurant – they should be huge). It was enough to feed another 2 or 3 people. Each dish had about 1.5 huge fishes and we packed up exactly a plates’ worth. As Colombians ourselves – the food reminded us of what we would have. It was delicious, but nothing special. Come expecting a home cooked meal and humble hospitality, complete with scratched and chipped walls and out-of-place table cloths with dressed chairs, and you’ll be satisfied.

I have never seen plates as big as this one. Two people can eat. That’s why the prices are high. I ordered the Cazuela and 2 people ate, and we were full. I suggest to sell desserts. Not just cookies and Colombian Ice Cream.

Never get disappointed!!! bomb fish!!!! We’ve been coming here ever since I was 15 years old!!!! This is the spot to go to eat the best fish in Plainfield!!!! I love it!!!! My mother enjoyed it!!! One fish for the both of us since we don’t eat a lot!!!!! God bless those hands who prepared it!!!! Good Service!!!!

If you come here, only eat FISH or SEAFOOD. DO NOT EAT THE MEAT. ALSO BE AWARE THEY CHARGE AN EXTRA $5 TO EAT SEAFOOD/FISH. Which they did not tell us until after they gave us the bill. CASH ONLY. Also the service of the staff is awful and slow. But they do have good fish. When we went at 3:30pm they barely had anything left on their menu so you will need to get there early in the morning to have all of the options.
