Mi Apa Latin Cafe was a great find while traveling and such a refreshing change from the usual fast food options on the road. The restaurant has a fast casual vibe that still feels welcoming and comfortable, and the service and attentiveness were excellent from start to finish.

My husband went with the classic Cuban pressed sandwich and really enjoyed it. I ordered fried yuca and a shredded pork bowl. The yuca was crispy and satisfying, though the portion of fries was small with only four pieces. The pork was good, but the rice and beans could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste. I asked for hot sauce to add some kick, but it ended up being much hotter than expected and seemed to burn the roof of my mouth. That said, I had already been sampling some very powerful sauces earlier in the day at Pepper Palace, so I suspect my mouth was extra sensitive though those sauces did not have the same impact on me – just a note to be cautious.

Even with those small notes, this place really stood out in a positive way. I appreciated the flavors, the menu variety, and the fact that it felt like real food rather than another generic fast food stop. I would absolutely come back to try more items and would choose this over many other fast casual options without hesitation. What a refreshing find.

As soon as I saw their billboard from I-75, I knew in my heart that the it was going to be a great experience. Let me tell you, this place has saved the day! Our waitress was so nice and the food was amazing. I got the vaca frita and my parents got the pollo y picadillo bowls! This is a must pit stop !!!!

Stopped here on our way home from Fla.
I have to say that the place was very clean, the service was amazing, the staff were on point and so polite and attentive. The food was great, had the authentic spanish taste. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on Cuban bread and my spouse ordered the breakfast perico ,great taste. I recommend it.

I arrived on a Saturday night at 715pm and the food came before 745pm and the food came at the same time which i loved. The prices were appropriate, the cuban sandwich was honestly basic, not enough to make me want to come back but not enough to keep me away. My wife was happy with her beef stew with congri. My kids enjoyed their Key west Cuban, and the ropa vieja with black beans and Yuca. Ariana was excellent with the service the food came quick.

Went in for breakfast, food was great , portion size was “ok” but not as much as other restaurants in the area, for the price . Service was outstanding !!! And the new building is very nice

The food is probably more authentic and perfect here than in Cuba. Best place to eat in a 100 miles radius. Highly recommend if you like being happy and well fed and caffeinated enough to write something like this.

The new location is so much better than the old place that was across the street. The staff is super attentive and the restaurant is clean and they give a quality product. It is my favorite stop on I 75.

Honeymoon is over. Portions and sides are just getting smaller and smaller. Ordered a side of Yuca fries and got 4.

Went back for a sweet pastry. It was fried in the same oil as the meat stuff. Not nice.

I was so excited to see the new restaurant go up , Ive stopped in often to the older store for pastry and coffee.Stopped in to new one today and actually finally ordered one of the Chicken Bowls, I was very sadly most disappointed, The chicken was so dry and hard I could barely chew it and the black beans and rice were somehow hard also..undercooked perhaps?? the plantains were delicious and the double shot of expresso was great.Guess Ill have to stick to the pastries and coffee.VERY SAD BECAUSE WAS REALLY EXCITED FOR SOME DELICIOUS CUBAN FOOD..QUALITY MANAGEMENT NEEDED..TASTED LIKE 2 DAYS OLD FOOD
