This is an absolutely wonderful and homey coffee shop. This is the equivalent to cheers bar, but a coffee house! I no longer live in Michigan, but I am thrilled for Elsie that this exists.

ok now, I gave all 5 stars because you just can’t find places like this. It’s a little hole in the wall place. It has great, friendly people. It has good coffee, they even have a cappuccino machine now! And they have a small menu of simple breakfasts.
