Ordered some takeout pies. I like this style of pizza. The crust tasted fresh, light/airy with a charred flame oven taste, with a crushed tomato sauce. Caesar salad was good too. We had takeout, but the staff was super friendly, making sure I was taken care of even though I wasn’t dining in.

In town for a family wedding and needed to have some dinner before the festivities began. We made reservations and had a fabulous meal with wonderful service and excellent atmosphere! We enjoyed Salmon Siciliana, Beef Bolognese, and Chicken Marsala, and they were all so tasty. Also enjoyed seeing mainly locals dining there! Treat yourself and enjoy a lovely Italian meal… They even gave us the most wonderful dessert as a special treat! Cannot wait to go again!

This is not a true Italian restaurant. They sat us at the first table and it was freezing the whole all time. We came here on Sunday to celebrate two birthdays. The service and the food were poor. Our waitress gave us attitude and only asked how our food was when 3 people had their food and then never came back. I would have told her my veal piccata was over cooked with no flavor. The pasta with olive oil and gralic had more flavor than my veal, so all I ate was pasta. We ordered desserts and coffees because ya know it’s our birthdays and she forgot a dessert and a coffee and plus they ran out of the chocolate cake. I know I could have gotten another dessert but nothing else sounded good. Definitely not worth the money! Group of six and paid $400. I called to talk to the manager about my experience, he didn’t call me back.

Excellent local Italian restaurant. My family and I have been eating here (or getting take out) for nearly 10 years and have never been disappointed. The food is all very good. We all have our favorites but the pizzas are definitely a standout.

Best Italian food in Charlotte! We have traveled from Minnesota twice just to the Lasagna. Best flavor and most unique melt in your mouth burst of flavor! We read up on the TSA rules and are bringing it back to MN. Our waiter took such great care of us that we may just book another flight for more. At some point we may get the recipe- but- hey- we will fly here for the food.

We went for my birthday at 5pm on Wednesday. The staff was all gathered together laughing and joking and it took a while for them to come over- then she never came back after taking our order. We ordered dessert to go. This is what it looked like. $169 for a mom and teen and one alcohol drink. We won’t return

I’m disappointed with the communication and handling of my inquiry. I contacted the restaurant to coordinate a brief post-funeral gathering for approximately 15-20 people and was transparent about the limited time window and flexible ordering approach. I was told the request required managerial approval and was assured I would receive a follow-up call the next day.

No one contacted me for over 24 hours. I had already received a reservation confirmation email, which reasonably led me to believe arrangements were moving forward. Only after I called myself the evening of the following day, was I informed that the restaurant would not accommodate the request unless a fixed per-person price was applied; Fairly unsuitable for the type of occasion.

Given the time-sensitive and significant nature of the event, the lack of proactive communication and clarity was very frustrating. A prompt and transparent/proactive response would have allowed to make alternate arrangements instead of being left with less than 48 hours to do so.

While I understand business limitations, those expectations should be communicated clearly and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poorly on the restaurant’s management and reliability for important events.
