We’re spreading the love! Downtown Bentonville, here we come! We are opening a second Mezzaluna right in the heart of the country. Arkansas will never be the same! Our new team there will replicate the same level of food and hospitality we have in P.G. We just couldn’t keep it all to ourselves! Wait until they taste our gelato! Mezzaluna Pasteria & Mozzarella Bar in downtown Bentonville (public parking across the street) is the restaurant to go to for fresh ingredients, pasta cooked to perfection along with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. They also offer a delectable and creative choice of dishes with Crab, Lobster, Chicken (Lasagne), soup, salad, antipasti and more! There’s something for everyone! We wanted one of everything because it all looked so fabulous! Don’t forget to order one of their one of a kind desserts too! We ordered the Chef’s latest creation; the Profiteroles. If this isn’t on the menu yet, you must ask your Server about it. This dessert doesn’t disappoint! (Picture of dessert in pictures posted) Although we didn’t order anything from the Mozzarella Bar, (only due to having already ordered enough food ) the dishes listed on the menu looked mouth watering.
I ordered the Lasagna Di Pollo. It definitely ranks with some of the best lasagna I’ve ever had! The flavor and texture is scrumptious!
It’s my impression that reservations are a must, but it may depend on the day and time. Thank goodness we had made an rsvp (the rsvp was for a Friday evening) We sat at the Chef’s Counter facing the kitchen as they prepared meals. What a true culinary experience! We sat at the end on the left side where we were able to see the dishes prepared by the kitchen and then prepped by the Food Runner. I would recommend specifically requesting these seats. There were two of us. We were first seated in the middle of the Chef’s Counter. There wasn’t very much room between us and people aside from us. We felt fortunate that a couple left almost right when we got there so that we could relocate to the end of the counter. The Chef, Cook(s), Server(s), Food Runner, were absolutely professional and friendly, providing consistent and exceptional service.

Visited Mezzaluna in downtown Bentonville for my birthday last week. We had a wonderful experience. We sat at the chef’s counter, which I recommend. It was fun to watch them and the staff was very kind and great to talk to even though they were busy and focused. The pomegranate margarita was possibly the best cocktail I’ve ever had, I would go back just for that drink. Lol Servers and manager were so kind, quick, professional. Our drinks were never empty. We tried several apps that were fabulous— you MUST try things off the mozzarella menu! Our pasta was very good. Also to mention… Beautiful date night atmosphere, I wouldn’t consider it a family or casual restaurant. I had to bring my 4 month old baby because she is exclusively breastfed and I was very nervous about people being frustrated or rude about this, but the staff and everyone was so nice. We did make sure to keep her happy so she didn’t interrupt the great atmosphere for those around us. Highly recommend! We will be back. Great date night spot, birthday dinner or girls night out.

Absolutely the best Italian food in NWA. The atmosphere is beautiful. Sitting at the counter is a fantastic experience as you can watch your food being made. The wine list is spectacular. Every dish we have tried has been phenomenal and we look forward to date nights here. Save room for gelato!

We were greeted by host,along with Amy the owner, each offering a warm friendly welcome!! We were guided to our cozy spot that was perfect for a relaxed, enjoyable experience! We each had the soup special which was a Lobster Bisque! It truly is a Chef’s masterpiece of yummy deliciousness! Our entree, the chef’s special, Scallops with Spinach Linguini made fresh in -house. VERY TASTY! The chef truly knows how to get the palate ignited!! Last but not least, BB, our server was professional and FUN, attentive to our needs! Thank you team for your excellence!! Truly a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE ‼️

We are still thinking about the incredible meal we enjoyed last night at Mezzaluna. We sat at the chef’s counter and were amazed at their efficiency, yet they still engaged in friendly interaction with us. We shared a special appetizer (raviolo) that was inspired and both our pasta entrees were delicious. We finished with a shared dessert of strudel. The staff were friendly and our service was excellent. (Oscar and Tyler)

My wife and I have eaten here 3 times. Each time was exceptional. The first time I was a little disappointed we could only get a seat at the chef’s counter. By the end of the night, we knew it would always be our preferred seating. It’s just so much fun watching them prepare the different dishes and chatting with them when they have a chance. I can go on and on about how wonderful the food and service is. But, you really have to experience it for yourself. I think my wife said it best. “We have lived in Bentonville for over 5 years and this is the only place we’ve been to more than twice.”
