I had a great experience at Mezeh Mediterranean Grill with my friend. He picked it because it was one of the healthiest fast casual options in the area, and he mentioned that they avoid seed oils across the menu, which was a big plus for us. It was my first time ever trying couscous and I honestly loved it. It was light but still filling, and everything tasted fresh and clean without feeling greasy or heavy. The portions felt solid and the flavors were balanced. The staff was also genuinely nice. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, patient, and welcoming, and it made the whole visit feel upbeat and easy. I would definitely come back to this place. If you want a place that is healthy and tastes great and leaves you satisfied, this is a great pick!

Food was really nice. They say they have harissa but it’s a sauce. Not the harissa you’d get from Cava. No crazy feta either but they have feta. So in comparison I believe everything is the same. If you love one you’d love the other. Just don’t expect getting harissa or crazy feta either. I know I shouldn’t be comparing the two but they are in essence the same. Kudos

I’m sorry I’ve been here twice since they’ve joined class pass to try it out, I’d never been before. The place is really cute, however the workers made our meals wrong twice and then in my bowl there was a hair cooked into the chicken. This is disgusting. They aren’t busy what so ever so there’s no reason for any of this… they have the time to do things correctly and with proper gear to make sure there’s no contamination. I didn’t even say anything last night because it was already such a mess to get the food I felt unwelcome already.
UPDATE: they’ve reached out or addressed this. This customer service here is appalling. I’ve had issues every time the only reason I’ve even come back is because it’s beside my yoga studio. Don’t come here. They’re rude every single time.

I have very bad experience at this store today with disrespectful attitude and unprofessional customer service.I been eating at this store for two years. Especially since October 19,2024 when my 16 year old son diagnosed with leukemia, he had been eating at this store almost every other day because of his chemo treatment change his taste buds and he always insisted to eat at this store. Few employees knew my son’s health condition and they always dealt with us respectfully. The service and food always exceptional until today. I ordered two bowls around 05:00 pm and employee add very little protein on both bowls. While I questioned politely about less protein, employee was being annoyed and involved other employee which was even worse and disrespectful. I asked to double the protein for extra charge but they added half spoons. When I raised questions politely, I was rebuffed with rude and unfriendly attitude and told that you can triple the protein with more money. I told them, don’t worry. This is enough. After I paid my food, employees left both bowls at counter and walked away. When I requested the paper bag for bowls, he shaked his head with very disrespectful gestures and laughed as he looked at me and kind of dumped the bowls in bag and walked away. I think this is enough for us.

Just giving everyone a heads-up — after I complained about the meal portions, I learned it’s not just me; many other customers have made the same complaint. The “fun” part is, as soon as you post a review, they reply almost instantly asking you to fill out the same form… and then you never hear from them again.
Smart business strategy? Maybe. But it’s a poor reflection of loyalty and respect toward customers.

What happened to Mezeh on Forest Ave? This place used to smack, but now it is mid at best. Look at this bowl, it was ~$18.00 and not even full to the top. The rice was crunchy and they barely gave me any steak. Extra steak is like 6 bucks (which is crazy). This is the third time I have gone and had consecutively poor meals. There’s no way I can return here and drop this much money on a 2/3 full bowl when they used to pack it into the bowl to the point that the lids would barely close.

Extremely stingy with protein portions I need to keep asking them to add more than a table spoon and their double meat is half of a regular portion at chipotle or qdoba so adding double meat or triple meat will make it even more expensive up to 25 bucks for a mediocre bowl! Guys you wont be broke putting a normal portion of protein per bowl, but you’d definitely get broke if you loosing your customers!

There is a “kids” size bowl and “adults” size bowl! The “kids” size is more than enough for a full grown adult, unless you are a giant!
My wife and I got 2 “kids” size bowls with the bread and a mango drink. We got the kefta lamb and 4 toppings.
The “adult” size bowl gets unlimited toppings!!
The food is always amazing here. If you haven’t tried it yet, you haven’t lived!

I really prefer Roots of Mezah! Since the new management start to cutting costs of everything even the bowl get smaller and smaller!
Be careful when you choose the protein they don’t even put a good amount! I really don’t recommend it like before.
