The chips and salsa they bring you to begin with is very good. We did a sampler of salsa and the pineapple one was our favorite. Awesome mezcal selection! The owner Mel was very helpful in selecting our drinks after we did a fleet testing. She is very knowledgeable and extremely nice. The food was excellent as well.

We are here on April 13. Food was really good! Salsa was chunky and so great! I had a philly burrito that was smothered in queso. This was unique an definitely I would order again! Think philly cheesecake sandwich with a mexican twist. Oh so tasty! My husbanf irdered veggie fajitas. They were descent. We enjoyed eating on the patio people watching downtown. Great location tomorrow being in the middle of everything. Server was pretty good. Food came fairly quick.

DO NOT GO HERE! I’m 25, and my license doesn’t expire until 2029- I have the red box on my ID because I got it a day before I originally turned 21 and they wouldn’t accept it. I have drank here many times, enjoyed their food and service many times. I have never had problems with my ID anywhere before BECAUSE IT IS A VALID ID. I am a bartender downtown, I know the laws. There’s so much more Mexican cuisine locally that have better food and service.. go find them and give them your business.

Brittiany was hands-down one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. She was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly kind. She handled everything smoothly and with a smile, even when it was busy. She truly made our experience better, and we’ll be back because of her!

The ambiance here is calm but fun. My wife and I enjoyed Valentine’s Day here. I got the El Hipster, and she had the sangria. Both were very good. A lot of restaurants around Chattanooga make drinks wrong, but Mezcla knows how to mix drinks. We started with the bean dip, which was delicious. She really enjoyed her shrimp tacos, which were a bit spicier than she likes, but she said they were very good. I had the burrito loco and loved it. We will definitely be back.

Our server Chloe was phenomenal. We ordered the birria nachos, shrimp tacos, and a kids meal. The food was hot, extremely flavor, cooked quickly, was extremely affordable, and great portions for the price.

Beautiful day in December, asked to sit outside but hostess wasn’t paying attention, tried to sit us inside. Finally sat outside, surrounded by 3 tables full of dirty dishes that didn’t get bussed till just before we finished eating our meal. Food was ok; average. Waitress was nice but service was very slow. This is the second time we have been, same both times; won’t go back!

The food has been incredible the 2 times we’ve gone, not the issue. The service here is horrific, there were several tables around us filled with dirty dishes. It took us 45 minutes to get a single drink which is insane. We wanted to hangout and order more drinks, but after how long it took to get one we all refused to spend another dime there. Pretty trash NYE experience, will not go back.
