The food I had was good and the service was quick. When I went it was fairly empty but I was sitting inside. I noticed at least 5 groups of family arrive and site in the outdoor area. So it may seem empty early afternoon but it wasn’t and they had ample room for guests. The staff were polite and quick to take food/drink orders. I would come back again and try their other food next time. This time I only had the nachos with everything and classic Margarita. The food portion was a good size to share between two people. And the drink was prepared well.

Know what? Mezcals is always exactly what I need. The margaritas are strong and delicious, they have Pacifico in the bottle, their food is solid, the service fantastic. My partner and I try to get here at least once a week.

Food was pretty mediocre…went here with my family and most of us had complaints. $25 for rice and 6 shrimp that were too buttery? One of us couldn’t finish our food because it was too salty. The sodas and juices seemed to be watered down as well. As a Mexican there is definitely better places to go to.

Food is absolutely nasty and sauce tasted sour. the man behind the bar was very rude and refused to change out the food . I live in the neighborhood and is sad that the owner is really nice but don’t know that the employees are ruining his business. Whenever you call to get to him they lie and tell you a day he isn’t there so you can’t make a complaint. The food is extremely salty and soggy as well . If I could give this place a zero I would.Don’t waste your time or money!!!!!!

Had so much fun here and I’m so happy to hear that. It’s still around in Carroll Gardens. Best liquid lunches of all times with my friends best margaritas only on the rocks. A lot of options for different Mexican dishes. Love the outdoor space in the back it was the best complete privacy and all of us could just sit back and joke around as we skipped work floor time. Good ole days
