First time here. Needed a quick lunch. They did not disappoint! I had the Chori Pollo lunch plate. It was fantastic! The chick was not dry and was seasoned well and included spicy chorizo on top smothered in queso with beans and rice with fresh tortillas. It was packed with flavor. The service was good as well. Joaquin (one of the owners) is the best!! This place gets a grade A+++ in customer service, food, atmosphere, prices, everything. Absolutely will be back on the regular. My family and I just moved to Louisiana and had my mother in town and she wanted Mexican food before heading back to Maine. We took her here based on reviews and it was absolutely the best choice we could’ve made. She’s from California and has VERY high standards when it comes to Mexican food and she was so impressed with the food! They even have a help yourself salsa bar with a ton of different salsas and sauces. We chose four different ones and they were all amazing – super fresh and delicious.
Joaquin was the one who welcomed us in, took our orders, and brought us our food. He’s honestly who sold us on the place before we even got our food just based on his customer service. So happy to have found this place and we are excited to be back again. Can’t wait to try more on the menu, everything we got was spot on. Also very affordable with amazing deals and specials! EVERYTHING WAS ALSO VERY CLEAN.

Formerly called Hacienda, this seems to be under new management or a different vision. Their salsa bar with various heat levels is great. My beef, chicken, and shrimp fajitas were seasoned nicely and cooked well. Great service. Note – all margaritas are buy one get one free. Plan on that!

We visited Mezcal Mexican Restaurant for the first time and were so impressed from start to finish. I ordered the lunch fajitas and took advantage of their 2-for-1 margaritas — both were excellent! The fajitas came sizzling hot, packed with flavor, and the margaritas were perfectly balanced. My husband had the pollo a la crema, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, paired with a refreshing mango agua fresca that tasted like it was made with fresh fruit. We also tried all the salsas they brought to the table, and every single one was fresh, vibrant, and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere made for a relaxed, enjoyable meal. We left full and happy, already talking about what we want to try next time.

My review is solely based on to go order. Firstly, loved the chimichanga. It was tasty. The guac, rice, beans, queso & salsa are wonderful! The chicken pieces I didnt like but Im not a huge fan of meat unless it’s quality meat. But overall tasty dish.
My only concern is the menu writes “2 chimichangas”, however it was only 1. Which is fine because it’s enough food for 1 person. But the description is different from what you receive. The price is also different depending on how you order. Ofcourse doordash is expensive by a few dollars but even when you place the order online, it’s a different price for the same meal. I ended up calling to place my order over the phone.
Overall would still eat here again because flavors are on point. Tastes very authentic.

We had a reservation at Superior Grill for our anniversary. After reading some bad reviews, we looked intensely for about 10 minutes. We found Mezcal. Service was great, food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I had the enchiladas Al carbon. My husband had the steak fajitas. The steak was perfect.

If you are looking for a top notch house margarita this is the place for you. They DO NOT skimp on the tequila. They have a really nice salsa bar with various types of salsa and pickled red onions. All the food has been really good and the staff are very friendly.

Had a great meal at Mezcal Mexican Restaurant! I ordered the shredded chicken chimichanga and enchiladas supreme, and both were delicious. The salsa blanca sauce was amazing-rich, creamy, and full of flavor.
The food tasted fresh, and the portion sizes were just right, not too much, not too little. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re craving some good Mexican food!

I thought I’d found the perfect place to eat on our weekends. Last time, it was a long hair in the rice, so we gave it another chance. This is unfortunate; who would think of putting a used glove under the lettuce? . Accidents happen, yes, but as a customer, I won’t be back.They should have the same respect for online customers.
