This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve visited. It was very clean, food was fresh, very tasty, fast and service is excellent. Keyla made sure we had a great experience and Miguel was very attentive.

The staff is super friendly, the tacos are good, and the hibiscus water is refreshing. However, the chicken soup is not the best since they add tortilla to it.
The atmosphere is calm and simple. If you want a good meal, I recommend it. It’s a great place to take a break and eat before continuing your journey on the road.

Road tripping home on New Year’s Eve and we’re totally at a loss for dinning options in this area due to several closing early for the holiday. But turned out to be the best thing because this place was excellent. My kids had the quesadillas and they loved them. My husband had the street tacos and I had the Barri taco special. Yum! Most of all our server was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. The space is sparse but the food is delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop again.

Great place great food amazing drinks (raspberry skittle is the best it comes with fruit on the umbrella stick in a multicolored glass with ice cubes that flash different colors and it tastes like a mix of the very flavoreed Skittles mmmm) great service… Just a little small but great place.

An upscale dining experience where you still get huge portions of delicious food. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service is quick. The space can be a little cramped though. Overall a great restaurant.

They have the best food and best staff. Brittany has been our waitress the last 2 times and she is so sweet and Julio is so nice as well. We’ve been here like 4-5 times just this month bc the food is so good and staff are so great! Really a 10/10.

Driving home after hiking around Stone Mountain, this was a great option for some Mexican food. It’s close to the interstate I-77 so would be a good option when traveling by the Elkin area too. The food was good and the service was good so now that I found Mexico Viejo tucked in the corner of this shopping area, it will be one of my regular dining spots after hiking in this area of NC.
