This is rapidly becoming one of our regular go to restaurants in Lowell. Lindsey our waitress was great this past Tuesday. And food was spot on. Lunch fajitas for my bride and two steak traditional tacos for me. Queso with chorizo and then fried ice cream for desert.

MEXICO LINDO located in the small town of Lowell, IN on Commercial Ave., is a hidden gem. An authentic style Mexican restaurant with feel good vibes all around. The restaurant cleanliness factor rates very good. I have yet to arrive & see undone or dirty tables. I cannot comment on the kitchen itself although a lot can be said from the dining area. The staff is very accommodating, friendly & quick to bring chip and salsa to the table. You are not left waiting to be noticed or place your order. The food is excellent & prepared timely. I love the whole-made guacamole .. some of the best I have tried. I usually order the chicken & steak tacos which are made to order, satisfying & plentiful. Recently I ordered the Chimichanga Cheesecake dessert which did not disappoint. Price point is comparable to other similar venues with good food for your dollar. All in all this restaurant is a win win .. the decor is colorful and matches the authenticity of its cuisine. I do recommend this restaurant for parties, family gatherings or simply a night out with friends.

My family got takeout from here tonight, and it was by far some of the best Mexican food that we have all had. We tried a wet chile rellenos burrito, the quesabarria dinner, and the combination dinner with a chorizo tostada, chiles rellenos, and chicken taco. I have avoided chicken tacos from Mexican restaurants for so long because the chicken is usually wet, but this was nice and perfectly seasoned and shredded. It wasn’t even dry. The chorizo had great flavor, as did the chile rellenos. The quesabarria was by far the best thing we ordered. The flavors were spot on. The rice even tasted delicious!! A bonus was getting the cutest bag of chips and salsa with our meals. Even Pepe’s doesn’t include free chips and salsa with takeout orders!! We cannot wait to dine inside and try out the drinks!!

Horrible service. Tasteless food. Extremely long wait. Generic soda clearly wasn’t coke or Pepsi asked for coke or Pepsi and they just gave me some Horrible soda with no refill. Had nothing to wash the Tasteless food down due to sitting there over a hour with no refill.

So a group of us at work today decided to order our food on our lunch break . I pick up the food at the restaurant . I ask the server if Everything is in the bags . She stated yes . I Come back to work and of course part of the order missing . This is NOT the first time this has happened . I called to speak to the restaurant about the missing items and the Server who answered the phone refused to give me her name and hung up on me . Very rude and horrible service !!!! The food is ok at best definitely nothing exceptional and the service here is HORRIBLE!

I drive 30 minutes once a month to eat at this tasty restaurant! I had the special one of my favorite dishes Menudo. The flavor was delicious. The soup came with all the condiments. Onion, cilantro, lime, charged chile de arbor, and corn tortillas. My wife had the steak with poblano peppers. She said it was fantastic, and I believe her too because she ate every drop. Our hostess was polite and seated us immediately. Our waitress arrived with a smile took our drink order, and when she returned with our drinks she took our order. The waitress brought our food promptly and it was hot steaming hot! She checked on us twice and refilled our drinks! Great Job Mexico Lindo!
