We made reservations for 11. We were seated right away! Had little kids and they were engaged. Service was attentive to our entire group! Food was GREAT! I got the lenga (cow tongue) street tacos – AMAZING! And the skinny marg pitcher was fun to share!

Stopped in at Mexico City Bar & Grill for the first time while heading to a nearby event, and we’re very glad we did. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and our server was hands-down one of the best we’ve had in a very long time—an incredibly kind and attentive person who made the experience even better.
The only thing we’d do differently next time is ask for a seat a bit farther from the entrance. It was a cold day, and each time the door opened we could feel the chilly air. That said, it was a minor issue and definitely won’t stop us from coming back. We’ll absolutely be returning!

We love this beautiful restaurant that has very festive decor inside & it is a very clean restaurant as well. As you can see the fajitas that they make are outstanding along with any other dinner options that we’ve had so far. My husband loves the flautas & sometimes I order the enchiladas. Now I will say this, they choose to not use a lot of spicy seasonings and tend to have a lighter flavor than what we are used to. Everything is still very delicious & plated beautifully & plentiful at that. We usually have a take home bag with leftovers.

I love Mexican food and a good margarita or two to go with it. I was disappointed in both at Mexico City Bar and Grill. The margaritas were awful. Too sweet and no hint of tequila in taste or smell. I ordered a chicken chimichanga as and was disappointed in it also. I am used to chimichanga’s behind deep fried and it wasn’t. Taste was bland. I was with a group of 8 people and the portions were good for everyone’s meal. The service was fine but then there were only a few other people there other than us. If I were to go back, highly unlikely,I would order fajitas and beer. If you enjoy margaritas go elsewhere.

We’ve eaten here a few times after sporting events, and every single visit has been a disaster. This last one sealed it—we’re done. They had maybe one or two servers covering the entire restaurant, so service was basically nonexistent. I spent $120 on a lunch that wasn’t even worth half that. The food is bland, poorly prepared, and no better than fast food. And the audacity to charge extra for chips? That’s a joke. Every other Mexican restaurant around offers them free, and honestly, those places taste better too.
Our drinks were barely refilled once, and when we sat down, it took 15 minutes with zero acknowledgment before I had to go chase someone down just to get our order taken. That’s not bad service—it’s pathetic.
This place is overpriced, understaffed, and completely clueless about how to treat paying customers. We’ve given them multiple chances, and it’s been garbage every time. Save your money and go literally anywhere else—you’ll get better food, better service, and won’t feel robbed walking out the door.

This was my first visit to Mexico City Bar & Grill & I really enjoyed it! The atmosphere is amazing! I enjoyed the look of the bar area as well as the rest of the restaurant. The food was great! They have outdoor seating & parking is plentiful! They have wine, beer & cocktails. I had a drink called Aztec Jungle Juice & it was great! There are several other businesses nearby too. This restaurant is in an an area called Firestone Farms which is a great place to visit. I highly recommend a visit here!

We had a wonderful experience eating at Mexico City. The food is fresh and authentic. I gladly paid for the chips and salsa. They were delicious and decent-sized for the price. They offer quality food and the prices are reasonable. My street tacos (barbacoa) were bursting with meat and flavor! The tacos were perfect. The rice and beans were flavored just right. The chimichanga was fried to perfection and was also a generous portion. We will definitely return!

I thought I knew what authentic tasted like until I dined here. Fantastic in all aspects. The food was so fresh, tasty and well prepared I didn’t even remember to photograph it before devouring my meal! Service was phenomenal, Jason is a delight and had spot on descriptions/recommendations. Looking forward to getting to know the other staff, including Alex and his marvelous margaritas! The decor was breathtaking, living up to the envisioned plans the owners described. Still in awe that one single artist created all of the interior design.
