It’s not a big place, but the food was really good. I’m don’t even remember what it was called, looked like food pillows, I just know they were really good with the veggies and sauce it came with. My family liked theirs too. I will definitely be back.

found 2 bones in the chicken gordita, wth… this is not a platter, its a handheld food, you can’t have sharp bones in it… besides this atrocity, the food is mediocre at best, there’s way better mexican restaurants in the area, would not recommend

The pupusas are fire I wasn’t expecting them to be so good in a Mexican restaurant. But I might be able to say they’re the best I’ve had. By the time I picked it up the cheese had oozed out and it looked horrible. But the flavor was ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ . I got 3 different types. Frijol y queso was the best one. Not sure if I’d eat in the restaurant. It was cold and didn’t seem like food. But I’ll definitely be back to try more food

We ordered the Burrito al Pastor and the Grilled Chicken Burrito — both were absolutely delicious!
Everything tastes fresh and homemade, like a meal made with care. The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and you can really feel the love in every bite.
The place is small but tastefully decorated, cozy and welcoming. We usually order to take home, but every visit is a great experience.
Highly recommend Carnitas Mexican Restaurant in Plantation — a true hidden gem! ✨

Located in the Promenade Publix plaza on Cleary & Nob Hill, next to Playa bowls! This is the best authentic Mexican and Central American food in Plantation. The pupusas are melty goodness, the tacos are just right, the beef soup on Sundays is excellent, & their spicy green sauce goes with everything. They have a large menu so there’s something for everyone. My whole family enjoys it. I also eat gluten free & have plenty of safe choices. It’s locally owned, not a fast food chain, so expect it to operate like one. Support your local businesses.

Mexican Carnitas, a small Mexican restaurant that truly delivers an authentic experience. The customer service was excellent, and Sandra, who took my take-out order, was especially nice and attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect.
I ordered the pastor tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, with just the right balance of flavors. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation of their dishes, making them some of the best tacos I’ve had in awhile.
Overall, Mexican Carnitas is a gem for anyone looking for genuine Mexican cuisine. The combination of great food and friendly service makes it a must-visit. I look forward to returning soon to try more of their menu!
I highly recommend treating your taste buds…

Convenient little homestyle Mexican restaurant in the heart of Plantation. The food tastes pretty good and the presentation is decent. I can tell this place is newer, so they do have a few things that they can improve on but overall the staff is friendly and the food isn’t bad. I can’t say that I’m counting down the days until I can return, but its an affordable option for a family style Mexican food. Also takeout may be a better option as there’s very little seating options and the restaurant is on the smaller side.
