Mexic103 joins El Tlaxcalteca and Tavo’s Signature as the best Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee. The food was delicious, and the menu was filled with eclectic choices not on this city’s typical Mexican restaurant menu. My Shrimp Diablo was excellent with just the correct amount of heat. The steak tacos were scrumptious, the meat succulent and not greasy. My spouse and I shared a crisp empanada with a crust that did not overwhelm the filling. She found the shrimp tacos to be her favorite. Everything was fresh, and the kitchen had culinary skills above the norm.

The rooms are spacious and well decorated. Don’t be fooled by the exterior, which makes people think Mexic103 is just a bar. Mexic103 is a comfortable spot to dine in. It is worth the drive to Cudahy as 794 makes the trip quick and easy. Mexic103 is fantastic. Go and enjoy. You have my guarantee.

We have eaten here twice now, once for lunch and now dinner. Both times the food was presented and cooked fantastic. So much flavor in each bite. Margaritas tasted so fresh with no aftertaste like premade drinks. Service too was top notch. We showed up an hour before close and were treated fantastic and not rushed. This is a place to satisfy that needed taste when you’re hungry. Thumbs up to the whole staff.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant! The food here is so good and I will say that it ranges closer to “American-ized” Mexican food, but I say that in a good way! The food is very cheesy, the meat is well seasoned. We’ve ordered the nachos, burrito supreme, shrimp quesadilla, enchiladas, and guacamole. I would (and have!) order all of them again. The guacamole is so good and very fresh so it’s a must every time we eat here.

Everything was on point, from the drinks to the service and, of course, the food.
We tried 3 drinks(piña colada and 2 margaritas), a couple of appetizers, and a couple entrée and everything was really good(mole enchiladas are recommended), even the rice and beans wich I usually just leave alone in most places where good.

Asada tacos were delicious, steak cooked to medium rare, lots of guacamole and melted cheese, fresh pico with jalapeños! Get a side of the cilantro jalapeño sauce! Wife enjoyed her chicken fajitas as well.

Seriously, the food at this place is absolutely delicious. That Mexican rice they serve? It’s easily the best I’ve ever had, no joke. I could honestly eat a whole bowl of just that. Everything else on the plate was fantastic too, but that rice really stole the show. You’ve gotta try it if you get the chance.

Started with complementary chips and salsa. I had the Tiajuana tacos, 3 tacos on soft corn shells filled with steak, chorizo, pastor, onion, cilantro and lime, along with a side of rice and beans. The shells were tender as was the meat and blended and seasoned perfectly. But, the star of the show was the margarita. Lime, with a hint of coconut on the rocks, gave it a smooth tropical taste. Absolutely delish, especially on a 90° day! The staff was friendly and attentive, keeping our glasses full 🙂 Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be going back and enjoying their outside patio on a smidge cooler day.

My husband and I love this place!! The service and food is beyond excellent! I usually get the Tijuana tacos and he gets the Asada tacos. So good! Plus where else can you get a $3.50 margarita??

I’m actually truly impressed with my meal. I had 3 tacos de al apastor. It’s a taco meal, came with rice and beans (both were very good). I ordered a red salsa and it came with a green one. I love very spicy salsas so both the red and green one passed my preference level of spiciness. My husband’s steak was juicy and very flavorful. They have kids meals as well. I’ve traveled to México and California, these tacos were pretty good. It might look small from outside but looks are deceiving. It’s spacious when you step inside and there’s a backroom and patio.
