I ordered a burrito for takeout and was overcharged by $5 because the restaurant claimed their menu was “outdated.” However, a quick check on Google Images shows that the menu was updated just last year. When I brought this up over the phone, the staff member didn’t seem to care that they were falsely advertising prices online.

Additionally, the burrito was supposed to come with “chips and red salsa,” but instead, I received only five chips and a small salad. This experience was disappointing on multiple levels. I won’t be returning, and I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere.

The food is really good. The drinks are amazing. You feel welcome and they take care of you. All of the servers are amazing. Specially the one with the ponytail and there’s another one that’s just there he’s tall he has dark brown hair. He’s really good too. This place is amazing and basically if you want a family night out or just to have some drinks, this is a place to go. I ate all of my food. It was amazing.

My daughter and I stopped by this cute spot during our snow storm and let me tell you it’s the best decision we’ve made. We ordered the “papas locas” which are loaded fries with steak, and my daughter had the birria tacos and I also had the pozole. Let me tell you, the pozole was sooo good it reminds me of my mother’s pozole and the birria tacos were also amazing! Everything about the experience was amazing. Shout outs to whomever the chef is because he or she makes everything with love. I will definitely recommend this spot to my family and friends. Thank you for the great experience

Their salsa (the one that comes with chips as starter) is liquid GOLD!! We are so obsessed with this salsa that we asked for a huge container to take home with us. They need to bottle that stuff and sell it.

Worth a try… you’ll end up adding this place to you’re list of regular spots. The food is delicious & fresh. The staff are super friendly and warm.

I’ve had their quesadilla and birria tacos on two separate occasions. Both are delicious! I inhaled the quesadilla, and drowned the birria tacos in the consomme and then drank it afterwards.

YUM!!!!!

Is a very cozy place, like a little Mexican Casita, the food tastes authentic and fresh, we tried the Sopes and they were delicious and generous size; chips could be better but anyways is a free item. Service could be faster, especially because it wasn’t busy at all, maybe it was too early? Overall, I highly recommend it for the Mexican cravings

I’ll start off with the positives. I went there for lunch and got the enchilada plate. They had chicken, pork, and beef choices so I asked for one of each, but they came back and said they could only do two, although I don’t know why. I chose chicken and pork and they mix them together so all three enchiladas tasted the same. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pork taste, but that’s on me, and I generally thought the enchilada plate was very well done overall, so I’ll give that entree five stars. I thought the atmosphere was fine, it was exactly as expected, and the wait staff were very attentive, but there were only two tables in the restaurant during lunch, so I’m sure that helped. But overall the staff was fine – no complaints. As for the negatives, the biggest problem that I had was with the chips and salsa. I love chips and salsa before the entrées, and I was really looking forward to it. And I think it’s wonderful that they offer it for free, which is how I grew up eating at Mexican restaurants. But the chips and salsa that came out were very disappointing. It was just a small handful of chips scattered on a plate with a very small container of plain salsa – it was actually more like hot sauce. I guess I’m just used to other Mexican restaurants that have flavorful sauces, or something more similar to pico de gallo. The salsa here was essentially hot sauce, which was not what I had in mind when I chose this restaurant. I know the other reviews are very positive of this place, and yes, the food, atmosphere, and staff were all great, other than the chips and salsa. For me that’s a dealbreaker. I’m going to be searching for other Mexican restaurants around Norwalk that have better free chips and salsas, because I care just as much about that as I do about the entrée.
