Had a delicious late breakfast at Metro Diner in Ponte Vedra Beach this morning. They have a great crew, a huge menu selection, and just plain good ole’ wholesome food. Carleigh did a great job, and we felt welcome, from the front of the house to the back. Metro definitely has the great American diner vibe, and you can tell the folks eating are happy regulars!

This metro location is amazing! The service is great, I always get my food quickly, even on busy days. They give you good sized portions and it’s not too expensive. I usually get the steak bowl and it is great!

This is a great breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant that I have been going to for several years. The wait staff is always friendly and efficient. There is not much turnover in staff over the years so assuming it must be a great environment for employees. They are very hard-working, the cooks turn out the food quickly. Oh, and the food is always great! Tip – get the Bissell Breakfast if you can’t decide.

I really would love to give this particular Metro Diner location a shoutout! My little sister visited this store recently on a vacation and realized she left her wallet behind. Mind you we live 3 hours away on the other side of Florida. When she called up there to see if anyone turned it in, they found it and not only offered to ship it back to her, but upon receiving her wallet there was a gift card in there for their restaurant!! So not only did this store pay to ship her lost item back.. they included a gift card. They absolutely went above and beyond for her and could’ve just stopped at sending it back out. What a thoughtful surprise, if this doesn’t restore your faith in people idk what does. Thank you so much for putting your guests first and going above and beyond your jobs. Highigly recommend just the service alone shows they take pride and care in their guests.

We had an absolutely amazing experience. Our server was precious with suggestions, and add ons to make our meal fabulous! The avocado toast (such a simple food) was kicked up a notch with the tomatoes and feta cheese….who knew!??? Chef’s kiss!!! Breakfast to perfection!!

Our first time here but definitely not our last. We should’ve known the portions would be generous when our server asked us if we wanted 1 or 2 of their cinnamon rolls pancakes. Angela was amazing and very attentive, explained what each plates were and the speed of our food was amazing. Everything was wonderful, definitely a place to come back.

Food was great! I had the avocado scramble with the hollandaise on the side (which was a great idea if you’re not a die hard hollandaise fan). You get the real diner feel when you are in there. Server was busy but still nice and attentive. Unlimited coffee refills is a nice touch.

Had a really good meatloaf with gravy mashed potatoes and asparagus…I was impressed. The Prices on the menu doesn’t brake the pocket. Very affordable for being in a boogie neighborhood! I will have lunch here again.

I usually go to the Metro Diner on San Jose, but my son and I came here to Ponte Vedra today for breakfast for the first time. It was so delicious! The server was really nice too, making it all the more enjoyable! We left super happy and satisfied!

This specific Metro location has nearly become a weekly outing for a 3-generation lunch date. Whether she’s asleep or not, my Mom and I take my granddaughter out for lunch every time I visit.
My mom doesn’t like to travel too far out of the comfort of Ponte Vedra Beach. She dislikes driving in heavy traffic so we try to stay close to home for her sake.
Each time we come, it almost seems like we have called ahead for the tables right up front, although we haven’t. It’s a huge coincidence that one of the booths seems to be ready for us upon arrival. The wait staff has ALWAYS been quick and flawless each visit. They are very patient with my mom when she’s deciding her order, critiquing her meal, and when paying the bill with new technology.
The wait staff has also been quite accommodating with the requests of a doting grandmother trying to satisfy her grand baby while not disturbing the near-by patrons!
My mom isn’t always satisfied with her meals. Sometimes she complains they are too much food, too messy, too greasy… but personally…. I’ve never had a bad meal at any of the Metro locations!
Lifetime repeat customer!!!!
