We were looking for a breakfast place near Stone Mountain and saw this place. It’s got everything you expect from a diner. Loud decors, dozens of cakes, an orange juice machine and a huge menu. The omelette was excellent and portions were large. The server was attentive and nice. Everything was great.

We went here for lunch yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised! When my husband suggested Metro Café, I wasn’t too excited because I thought it would just be the usual diner food but I was wrong. Everything was really good. My husband had the country fried steak dinner, and it was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and topped with plenty of creamy gravy. The portion was generous and the sides made it a real comfort meal. I ordered the gyro with fries, and it was excellent. The gyro meat was well-seasoned and flavorful, paired with fresh veggies and soft pita bread. The fries were hot, crispy, and not greasy at all. The restaurant itself was very clean, the service was friendly, and the dessert display looked amazing. The only small downside was the Coke being a little flat, but that’s minor compared to the overall experience. I’d definitely go back!

Laila is one of the most amazing enthusiastic servers I’ve ever met. Her personality is so welcoming with a service to match. I have come to metro cafe numerous of times and I’d have to say she is my favorite waitress! Very beautifully designed cafe with antique furniture and awesome design. The food was very delicious specially the Belgium waffles very good Crepes variety of drinks and coffee and tea . The atmosphere was amazing and unique. I will highly recommend to others.

We came across this diner after our hotel restaurant was 50+ minutes backed up at 8:30pm. After a long day of driving with two kids, that wasn’t happening.
METRO DINER was absolutely happening!! The food was perfect, the staff was absolutely the friendliest we’ve come across and the prices were extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food received. We enjoyed it so much, we came back for breakfast the next two days!
So nice to find a good location with friendly service and a variety of food offering to satisfy even the pickiest eaters
OH! I almost forgot about the desserts! Insanely delicious. Wish we lived closer!
