This $12 ham sandwich is very fatty. Hardly anything has pricing. After you check out, you may notice that you can order hot food from the counter.

After getting the wrong sandwich I was treated like I was the problem. The worker refused to speak to me and then made the correct order. The other worker had to confirm that I didn’t say my order wrong. Once I got the food it was underheated so the meat came out cold. Other than that the food just isn’t worth it. I’ve been before but they’ve changed the food recipe to be smaller. The food is small, cold, and pricy and the people are rude.

Staff is rude for no reason. Needed to split a hot beverage so I came over and asked if I could have just a cup. She gave me a clear plastic one so I asked if she had paper cups to which she just said “No, you’re good.” and glared at me. The paper cups were right behind her on the counter, she had to go out of her way around to back to get the plastic cup so I’m not sure why she started with that anyway. I wasn’t gonna push it so I walked away and found other means. I would have understood a policy of not giving out anything to someone not buying anything but this was a weird interaction that was deliberately rude without any explanation.
I’ve eaten here before as well in the past, the food is underwhelming, especially considering the outrageous price, even for an airport.

The older lady who worked here on 10/09 maybe blot family with good customer service as well as hygiene practices handling food. I was excited to try this Metcalves location as it is relatively new to the airport.
I purchased a breakfast sandwich, all the worker did is placed it (pre-made not made from scratch here) on the grill barely moved away from register. Another person purchased something with cash and left a tip in jar. The worker emphasizes to the customer “thanks for tipping – you wouldn’t believe how many people don’t”. While I don’t care or take this personally, however, this is a personal decision to tip or not. There is no need to comment on what other people choose to do. The company must be struggling to find workers. I guess we should be grateful at least have this one.

The food was okay but very bland and tasteless. It was very obvious that I wasn’t inconvenience to the server to even take my order much less make it even though I was the only person there. He must have been having a great conversation when I walked up because it took him quite to end it in the challenged with my order. Once the order was completed it must have been too much work to take two steps to the counter and place it down so he had to throw it to the counter from the grill.

The two workers were extremely disrespectful and rude to me. I ordered a sandwich and did not add a tip (since it’s their job to make the sandwich, and a tip is NOT mandatory…or so I thought). It’s not like they brought it to me or waited on me, it is a sandwich shop. They would not even speak to me, and made it obvious they were unhappy with my not tipping. They even put a little glass tip jar out on the counter right after I paid while I waited on them to make the food. Another customer ordered and presumably tipped, because they treated her with respect and actually handed her the order. They tossed my order on the counter and turned their backs to me, and did not even address me when I said thank you and picked it up off the counter.
This is unacceptable behavior.

I stop here almost weekly on my travel for work. I always get the turkey monte Cristo pannini. This morning I was told they are serving breakfast only. When I asked why she said it was just her and one other person working and it’s usually 3 people. This is a first for me. Typically the person taking the order is the one putting it on the panini press and this has never been an issue. Lights were also off behind the counter which felt they were almost trying to avoid people from stopping here to order. Overall, not a great experience.

7:52 on 12/26/24 the manager Michelle was very rude and disrespectful. I changed my mind about an order and she was soo rude and questioned me why!!! Who does that??? I asked her a simple question about the muffin assortments available and she snapped at me and said it’s what ever you see there. Her employee Cameron had more manners than her and greeted my family with a smile. Customer service is important and if you don’t want to respond respectfully to your customer’s Manager Michelle, who didn’t want to give me her last name, please find another job! Bad customer service! Don’t go there
